In 2004 Rach relocated from her native Australia to Los Angeles where studied guitar at Musicians Institute in Hollywood. Performing around Los Angeles and also in New York at venues including the Sidewalk Cafe, her style has been enthusiastically received by American audiences. History....Rach Green is a multitalented singer/songwriter who performs on guitar, voice, piano, didgeridoo, & percussion. No stranger to the music scene she has been performing and composing since age twelve, she cut her teeth on the live rock scene as singer/songwriter/guitarist & manager, for all-female three piece punk outfit 'tinderbox' (later known as 'Poinaz Dare'). Often referred to as the female version of Aussie rockers Silverchair, this grrl rock group supported the likes of Bikini Kill (USA), as well as performing in major capital cities Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne.
