Contains 12 untitled 5 second hidden tracks after track # 11.
Fittingly, the spiritual music scene is full of family acts, and BeBe Winans emerged from the preeminent clan of modern soulful gospel. For the longest time, the silken-voiced BeBe was content to be part of a larger act, whether singing with his brothers in the Winans or as a duo with his sister CeCe. However, in 1997, BeBe branched off successfully as a solo performer with his self-titled debut.
DREAM is BeBe's third album (not counting a live record and a Christmas collection), and it plays like the wanderings of a soul exploring his faith. He opens simply enough with a pleasant take on the Walter Hawkins composition "When You Pray," before treading down some more inventive paths. The breathy "Love Me Anyway" sounds like a Maxwell tune written for Broadway, while on "If I Let My Heart Go," the singer exposes his own uncertainty in a disarmingly heartfelt manner. Throughout it all, Winans's voice radiates as it moves through the songs with expert precision and unwavering grace. BeBe Winans knows how to explore the spirit of a song, and DREAM is more proof of that talent.

Dream Music Review Average Rating: (4.8 out of 5 stars) BeBe at his b-e-s-t!!!!!!!! This CD is awesome and my favorite song is "Safe from Harm" I declare that song's going into the hymn book!!!!!!! I first heard it on the Ron Winans Family and Friends V CD (another powerful CD) and now it's on "DREAM". Thank you, Brother BeBe for such a powerful song that reminds me of who God is, even in the storm.
The entire CD is excellent!!!!!

Awesome CD! I've listened to several songs on the CD and WOW!!! What amazing songs! Yet what else would I expect from Bebe WINANS. Thus far, I've purchased "Safe From Harm" for my pastor and the church loved it! Next I'm going to purchase "I Have Dream" for our annual Black History Month Dinner. By the time I'm done I would have purchased the whole entire CD on line! (smile) The Winans have been such a tremendous gift from God and Bebe's new CD is just another extention of that gift. Continued success my brother, God Bless and Semper Fidelis! (Always Faithful)

soft thoughtful lyrics I love this this CD. I find the music and lyrics to be soothing. It is slightly different from BeBe normal, but again it is a nice change.

$7.95 BeBe Winans' Christmas album is, not surprisingly, a very reverent collection. The gospel singer has turned largely to traditional and religious material, which he performs effectively in his passionate style on My Christmas ...

| | LaShell Griffin Free CD (2004)
Dream
$8.29 LaShell Griffin had been singing in church choirs for two decades before she heard about "Pop Star Challenge." The brainchild of Oprah Winfrey, this feature of her TV program was created in answer to the youth-obsessed aspect of the phenomenon of AMERICAN IDOL. While the songs Griffin performed on Winfrey's show were generally secular (though inspirational) pop, her debut album, a result of her winning the contest, reveals deep ...
| | Donald Lawrence I Speak Life CD (2004)
Dream
$8.99 Donald Lawrence opens I SPEAK LIFE, his first record without the Tri-City Singers, with "Healed," a song where he delivers, in the most welcoming and relaxed tone, a universal sermon of finding recovery in a return to salvation. In the middle of the song, Lawrence unguardedly remarks "I like this part." It's that sense of openness ...

| | Yancy Derringer Openers CD (1975)
Dream
$11.59 Yancy Derringer was the sort of faceless hard rock band that bogged down the mid-'70s in banal, redundant musical mediocrity that actually benefited, as impossible as it is to believe, from the excessive glittery onslaught of disco. The Monroe, WI-based band played their brand of straight, no frills, bar-boogie blues at various Midwestern clubs, universities, and festivals throughout the middle of the decade. Ultimately they cut this album, reissued in 1999 by Gear Fab, in 1975. Perhaps the band was a live powerhouse, but Openers retains no charm -- if it ever had any -- even as a severely dated artifact. Lead vocalist Charlie Kulchur sometimes sounds like a less unconventional, more good-time rock prototype for Perry Farrell, but that hardly recommends the music. Frankly, with music so pedestrian it is difficult to differentiate one song from the next -- the tunes all fall into the same general drum and bass-led rhythmic bottom, the same glass-rattling piano (or, when the band gets adventurous, Moog synthesizer) that drones in all the wrong ways. To be fair, it does rock in a macho, chest-hair-bearing '70s hard rock sort of way, but outside of biker bars, this ...
| | Antonia Free To Be Me CD (2002)
Dream
$11.49 For Antonia, music is about service -- to God and to those whose lives might be changed by the power of a song. Every note is given freely, with nothing asked in return other than a willingness to open one's heart and listen. It is the most generous of gifts, and the easiest to receive … because singing came to Antonia only after her own heart had opened to God. Its value lies not in the promise of fame, but in its power to touch others as it has touched her.Antonia has a unique multicultural background. She was born in Manchester, England, her parents are from Jamaica and she was raised in Canada. She now resides in the United States with her husband, David and family. She enrolled into Oral Roberts in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and this is where her ministry began and where she discovered the gift God had given to her. As Antonia grew in the knowledge of God, so did her talent as singer, songwriter and worship leader. Her music reflects her multicultural background through the diversity of styles, mixed with lyrics that capture God word for today’s generation. On every track on her CD, Free To Be Me, she displays her range of style from Hip-hop, silky R&B ballads, sophisticated jazz, Antonia's brilliantly expressive original songs, with the ever-present spirit of praise, worship, and celebration. Antonia has worked with people as diverse as producer David Sanguinetti, known ...
