||Amazing, inspiring, moving, energetic, immortal!|
That`s right! This album by KC is all of that and more! It`s hard to believe that this was recorded when this version of the band was about to break up, because they sound like there`s a great communication between them, their performance is so well put together, you imagine that this is a band that feels great playing with each other! It certainly feels great listening to this album! Don`t be deceived by the cover picture, besides Wetton, Bruford and Fripp, there are more excellent musicians who participate in this album (David Cross, Ian McDonald and Mell Collins) making this a kind of super-session collection.

||The end of the best Crimson|
Red was the last (mostly)studio release by the Wetton/Fripp/Bruford edition of King Crimson. And wow(!) talk about going out with a bang.

||The last of the best!!!|
Red is the final release of the best incarnation of King Crimson,(Fripp,Wetton,Bruford & Cross). It bookends Starless & Bible Black along w/ Larks Tongues in Aspic.

This album spawned heavy prog music, bands today such as Tool and Dream Theater owe it to these guys.
