It is obvious that Matt and Basia have worked hard on this album and the final copy is great. I love the cd. I love Basia's Brazilian and Latin ingfluence. I listen to it constantly and enjoy it to the max, but then again, I have been a Basia's fan since Time and Tide. I look forward to see her in concert as soon as I can.

 Affectionate, fun, though not their best
It's great to hear Basia back together with the two guys that made up the core of Matt Bianco, a British mid-80s combo that had a big hit with "Whose Side Are You On" (and a lesser hit with "Yeh Yeh" after Danny White and Basia left the group to work together). This album's a bit short but quite affectionate, with lots of bossa-nova grooves and a few select heavy harmonies (a Basia specialty). They must have gotten someone else to do their classic baritone sax riffs after Ronnie Ross died. Not their best work (their first album, or Basia's "Time and Tide", qualify for that award), but a fun listen.

After seeing them in Concert April 29, 2005, I was given this CD as a gift. As the previous reviews, nice music to listen to. Keep in mind this is a Matt Bianco CD not a Basia CD but hearing her voice makes it worth the purchase. After the concert I got the chance to meet with Basia and the first thing I said was, "Please don't leave us again". She smiled and said, "I will never do that again". Basia has a voice that will remain with us both musically and classically. Meaning, her voice and music will always be a classic.

When I first heard that Basia was going to be doing another album with Matt Bianco, I was a little bit hesitant because Ive seen many groups come back after awhile and the magic just wasnt there anymore. But they proved me so wrong when I picked up the Matt Bianco Matt's Moods cd. From the very first second of the cd, to the last track, Basia literally takes you on a journey that you truly hope is never going to end. The cd is a perfect mix of jazz, latin, and dance chill out music that is really ground breaking, but can make you look back and remember what good music truly used to be. This album is solid throughout the entire thing and is truly an album that I plan to listen to for years and years to come. Basia, of course, delivers the goods with her harmonies and the rest of the group goes above and beyond of what they were required. Matt's Moods is a must have.

The mass was thought to be benign, however, due to blood vessel activity within the mass, it was strongly suggested that Eugene have brain surgery to remove the lesion.On December 7th, 2004, Eugene underwent neurosurgery to remove the lesion and correct any improper activity in his brain. The surgery was very successful because that mass was indeed benign. The surgeon was also glad that the surgery did occur in a timely manner because based on the findings, Eugene was on the verge of having a seizure, but again, the problem was corrected.
