"Twelve tracks filled with heartache, redemption and humor...I think there's something here for everyone", Amy states with a wry smile. Folk, rock, country, blues, even gospel are represented, blending into what can only be called 'American' music. "I grew up listening to a lot of classic folk and country", Amy relates. She lists Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris, Johnny Cash and daughter Rosanne, John Denver, and Bobbie Gentry among her many influences. A Mesa, Arizona native, Amy started her musical career at the tender age of 3, singing for weddings and other special events for family and friends. She began penning her first songs at age 8, and, after becoming enamored with a hot pink guitar in a local music store, she embarked on a mission to self-learn her new instrument in order to give a more expressive musical voice to her songwriting. Singing a wide range of musical styles in an assortment of bands and traveling across the country throughout the 90's, Amy discovered her own voice.
