| | Key West - City Of Colors DVD (2004)
Fit Prime - Metaboost & Flexaposture DVD
$18.85 In 1978, Gilbert Baker devised a new symbol for the gay community to replace the pick triangle, which was a holdover from Nazi designations. He created the rainbow flag, with its colors--fuschia, red, orange, yellow, green, turquoise, blue and purple--representing sex, life, healing, sunlight, nature, magic, serenity and spirit. They are also representative of Gilbert's native Key West, an island of a mere 2 by 4 miles, but with inhabitants of every hue, nationality, ethnicity, and background. Depicted here as an idyll where sexuality and lifestyle are not judged, the population of Key West comes together in this moving documentary to stretch an 8000-foot-long, 3-ton flag from one end of the island to the other. Taking this event as its jumping-off point, the filmmakers delve into the personal stories of the participants, exploring themes of hope, despair, struggle, and triumph. It depicts how gay individuals from all walks of life found their way to this island only 90 miles away from Cuba, in pursuit of a supportive, safe community. On the 25th anniversary of the rainbow flag, one thing they all have in common is a shared hope for and belief in the continuation of that community.
A modern Venice, the city of Key West models the vision of diversity. Showing the power of cultures coming together to make the individual pieces stronger. As they prepare ...

Fit Prime - Metaboost & Flexaposture movie DVD
$7.25 In the tradition of cult favorites REEFER MADNESS and THE ATOMIC CAFE, WHAT WERE WE THINKING?! surveys the litany of campy propaganda films produced in America during the 1950s. Geared toward the nation's burgeoning and increasingly rebellious teenage population, these scare movies capitalized on Cold War fears of communism, nuclear war, and alien attacks to offer moralistic tales encouraging social conformity. This hilarious documentary pays ironic tribute to these paragons of kitsch with a collection of film clips and public service ...

Fit Prime - Metaboost & Flexaposture review
$27.25 Produced by the acclaimed Studio BONES (RAHXEPHON, FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST) and designed by Tomomi Ozaki (LE CHEVALIER D'EON), the sci-fi anime series KURAU: PHANTOM MEMORY is an angst-filled riff on identity and personal transformation. Ten years later, Kurau has put her powers to use as a martial-artist mercenary--only to be dogged by bounty hunters eager to claim her secret. This volume continues the thrilling anime series with four more episodes.
As the twin forces of betrayal and the GPO's expanding dragnet shatter Kurau and Christmass temporary sanctuary, the Rynax pair is caught in the jaws of Wong and Ayakas trap. Placing her trust in an unproven ally, a desperate Kurau finds herself facing ...
