"Live in Cleveland" Captures Tangerine Dream featuring founder Edgar Froese alongside founder Chris Franke and newest member Paul Haslinger. The material captured on this recording is drawn from a number of sources including the bands then current album 'Underwater Sunlight' (Scuba Scuba, Dolphin Dance and Ride On The Ray) the concert also featured a re worked version of Stratosfear and Yellowstone Park from Le Parc. This recording has been remastered for release and as with others in the Bootmoon series of recordings is released in a limited edition. The Bootmoon series of recordings are a series of limited edition recordings drawn from the bands official vaults overseen by Edgar Froese. The bands large and devoted fan base eagerly snapped up the initial batch of recordings and some of these recordings now pass hands for high sums on ebay.

Originally part of a fan-based live bootleg recording project called Bootmoon, this recording of the pioneering and influential German electronic outfit Tangerine Dream is part of a series of unadorned live performances (the band habitually added post-production instrumentation and otherwise altered its sound on its official live releases). This mid-1980s performance in Cleveland presents a series of cinematic-sounding compositions that make full use of the available electronic technologies of the period, including sequencers and synthetic percussion, to heighten the sense of musical drama.

2006 BIOVoted as one of the top 10 folk artists in Austin, Vanessa Peters is already well known in her home state of Texas – and judging by the relentless touring schedule she keeps, it seems that she is trying to make a name for herself in the rest of the world as well. In the last two years, she has criss-crossed America twice and toured all over Italy, Germany, and the Czech Republic, both as a solo artist and with her Italian band, Ice Cream on Mondays. But touring hasn’t stopped her putting pen to paper either; she released “Thin Thread” in 2005 to glowing reviews in the States and in Italy, and has released 2 albums (her 4th and 5th) this year, all the while touring the country as an acoustic duo with Manuel Schicchi, the guitarist from ICOM.Vanessa had been playing as a solo artist for 2 years when she met the guys that would form ICOM in the summer of 2004. The four of them hit it off instantly and recorded a demo together that was to be used for booking a tour in America. The demo ended up sounding so good that they had it mixed and mastered and released it as their first disc, Thin Thread. The band came to America in January 2005 and they toured through some of the best venues in the South, including Poor David’s Pub in Dallas, and at universities like Texas A&M. Then the band headed back to Europe and played a string of dates in Italy, which Vanessa then followed with solo dates in the Czech Republic and more shows in the States.But in all of these airports and backseats of vans and moments before sleeping, Vanessa was writing a script that would become Little Films. In fall 2005 the band began making plans to head back to Texas to start recording with Salim Nourallah, a well-known singer/songwriter and producer who had worked with up-and-coming bands like The Deathray Davies and more established acts like Rhett Miller and the Old 97’s. Salim had also recorded Blackout, an acoustic EP reminiscent of Patty Griffin’s early work, that Vanessa released as a solo artist in May 2006. Salim’s production had caught the band’s ear in 2005 while they were on tour in Dallas, and having him at the helm was exactly what they wanted for their new album.So the band crossed the sea once more and buckled down at Pleasantry Lane Studio in Dallas.
