Black & White; Closed Captioned; Standard Screen; Soundtrack English; Dolby Digital 5.1 Re Randolph Scott stars as Dr. Robert Morley in this 1933 melodrama, a grieved and heartbroken widow whose wife has died in childbirth. Morley is disinterested in his new son, who survived the ordeal, and takes off for Europe to continue his career, leaving the boy in the care of relatives. Returning six years later, his wounds healed and with a new bride-to-be on his arm, the doctor feels differently about his abandoned son. He takes up a fight to win custody from the aunt and uncle who have thus far raised the child, but just when things start to go Morley's way, he faces a new hurdle when problems develop between his beautiful socialite wife and his son.
