This is pure Country Gospel Mountain Music with a Bluegrass edge and we enjoy doing this family style. Jamie and Jenny Smid met in the Spring of 1997 and married in May of 1998 (When we were dating, Jamie’s singing and guitar playing was very romantic. He would sing love songs to me and look into my eyes, and I melted)Jamie learned guitar as a young boy. He is very thankful his parents encouraged him to get into music. It’s a hobby that is not only relaxing but one you can grow old with.We first started performing about 5 years ago. Our little girls, Katie 7, Michelle 5 and Emmy 2 have started adding little songs to our performances. Daddy’s got the most talent of us, but the girls usually steal the show. Especially Emmy (2), she just stands there and people clap for her. We hope our children grow up to enjoy music as much as we do.
