sampling mastery
Again, madlib creates a musical landscape unlike anything else out at the moment. He's at the top of his game taking you on a enjoyably hazy ride.

hmm
had really high hopes for this one after 'the unseen' and that bootleg. bit of a disappointment. the jazz and well-placed comedy samples in the first album were incredible - the feeling you get when you listened to it was like no other.
