With nary a sitar nor raga within earshot, the young newcomer sounds very much an assimilated, western, 21st century pop-jazz singer. One thing that separates her from the ...

| | Carl Keith Bringing Back New Orleans CD (2007)
Bossa A La Mode Dois songs
$12.65 My new album "Bringing Back New Orleans," is a compilation of songs that I wrote that share the fun and excitement of New Orleans with people everywhere. The title track called "Bringing Back New Orleans," reminds us all of so many of the great things to do and places to visit in the New Orleans area, that are back in business after the storm. The first track on the CD, "The Crescent City French Quarter Sunday Morning Blues," is a great song that takes you through the French Quarter on a Saturday night that everyone can enjoy. Most of the other songs on the CD are associated with New Orleans and the rebuilding effort of the city. Track eight called "We Want You Back Home," is a song I wrote based on the music from Michael Buble's song "Home," that sings to those who left the New Orleans area letting them know we miss them and want them back home. Track number nine, "Don't Be Mean to New Orleans," is also great as it reminds us all to set goals and do positive things to help New Orleans as we rebuild. There ...
