Wonder Of It All album
$13.85 Chico Freeman showed a great deal of potential in the 1970s when the young tenor saxophonist recorded frequently. His profile has been a lot lower since that era, but he is still quite capable of playing rewarding music as he shows on this project, The Emissary, from 1995. Teamed with a group of San Francisco Bay-area musicians who form the Josh Jones Latin Jazz Ensemble, Freeman plays quite well on tenor, soprano, and bass clarinet. The music ranges from Latin jazz to world music, with a touch of reggae and pop, and a relatively straight-ahead "Seven Steps to Heaven." Since the Josh Jones group is essentially a rhythm section, Freeman is the main voice throughout and he comes up with plenty of creative ideas throughout this fairly accessible set. ~ Scott Yanow

| | Lady Gaga Just Dance (2008) 4 versions; Remix
Wonder Of It All CD music
$3.59 No one can accuse Lady Gaga of not giving the people what they want. "Just Dance," the artist's first single, is an urgent dancefloor filler that draws on Madonna, glam, `80s electro-pop, and deep house, trendy elements that not only push ubiquitous pleasure buttons but carry all the right cultural cachet in the late 2000s. But the up-and-coming dance-pop diva has the skill and flair to pull it off, as anyone who hears (and buys) "Just Dance" will find. Sexy, catchy, and eminently danceable, this single release is hard to resist. More of the same can be heard on THE FAME, Lada Gaga's full-length debut released in 2008.

Wonder Of It All songs
$13.99 PRECLAUSIVE, the six track release from Sarah Blasko, features "Be Tonight" and "Sweet Surrender."
In August 2002, most people would not have recognised the name Sarah Blasko from a license plate. Near the end of September, Sarah launched her debut EP, Prelusive to a packed Hopetoun Hotel in her home town of Sydney. As October rolled in, national radio station Triple J added the single, Your Way to high rotation. In November, Channel [V], a major national television music show (and ABC's rage), also added the video clip for Your Way to their programming. It's now a months on and it seems almost everyone has heard of Sarah Blasko. Universal. 2005.
