What else can I say other than this is one of the sexiest releases from the Kinks. In keeping with early work this album has one solid track after another.

If only there were more stars....
this album would get them. This edition contains both the mono and stereo versions of the album. This makes for interesting comparisons.

A Masterpiece!
A lost, unknown gem! This album sounds unlike anything released during 1967. Instead of being psychedelic, like everyone else, they use British musical influences.

God Save The Kinks
That was a promotional campaign started by Warner Brothers records in 1968. It did nothing to increase the popularity of the band, nor did it help the sales of this album (it did not even crack the Billboard Top 200) upon its release in 1968.

This album is very enjoyable to listen to and I would recommend it to any one that is interested in British Rock.
