Make Believe album for sale Product Description
Make Believe album for sale by Weezer was released May 10, 2005 on the Geffen label. Weezer opens its fifth record, 2005's MAKE BELIEVE, with the single "Beverly Hills," an anthemic slice of power-pop with a sing-along chorus and heart-on-the-sleeve vocals. Make Believe CD music The song makes it seem as though Weezer hadn't changed a speck since the band captured hearts of MTV fans and indie rockers alike with its 1994 eponymous debut. | good this is a good album. its original yet dosent stray far from theyre oter cds its like emotive original in its own right and should be seen as just that. By patrick (flomoton alabama) |
| Wow! The Weez takes it to Wenz! I love this band. I am still in the initial phases of listening to the cd. I feel the songs are pretty good. Better than their previous 2 albums, but it also took a while for pinkerton to grow on me. Now this along with the blue album and pinkerton are my favorites. This new album reminds me of The Wenzels. Maybe Rivers was listening to their music when he wrote this? ;-) Definately worth checking out. By The Wenzels (Germany, Japan and San Diego www.thewenzels.com) |
| you don't have to Make Believe it's true... This album is amazing. I enjoy the mix of happy summer pop and more emotionally driven, slower ballads...i don't understand why so many people think this album is terrible, its beautiful! (And I've been following this band since the Blue album, so don't think that I haven't any other references to compare it to) It's true that Weezer will never have that magic they had with their first albums, but if you really listen to this one, it actually doesnt stray too far from their original tried and true formula of catchy yet emotional lyrics/music used in Blue and Pinkerton. - that distinct geeky weezer sound. I can hear elements of old weezer in many of the songs actually, and everything just sounds awesome! The melodies are all gorgeous; My favorite tracks are This is SUch a Pity, Hold me, Peace, Pardon Me, and The other way... Hell, the whole album. By katthedrivein (Southern California) |
| Amazing Its only been out a few days, and i got it the first day it was out, and alot of people hate it, but its gotta be one of their best. Its a new side of weezer, and any true weezer fan will love it, amazing buy. By Ian (Ontario, Canada) |
