logic following/review of Big Daddy
Every John Mellencamp release is special. In my head, I could always see the fiddles and smile, because in elementary school,I played size 1/2 fiddle... couldn't even think about full or 3/4 sizes... and viola... no... cello... no... bass fiddle... no "WOWEE!" I'm sorry... the therapists, like, they say,"would you like to see my first job interview resume?" And of course, the achievements come pouring back... but, oh yes, he is wonderful... you know? But as if... every song is like exceptionally great, all I can really feed the baby with is how... bipolar his daddy is.

Don't overlook this album
Mature and concise album. Relaxed John and his ever tight band delivered a great collection of songs. Along with "Uh-huh", this is my favorite Mellencamp CD.

Underrated
This seems to be his most underrated album,you'll find it at almost every used CD store and it's A shame. I just played it again to see if I wanted the remastered version and was really blown away but what A good CD this is.

A LAID BACK ALBUM
I like this album a lot. Sometimes the vocals are a little mumbled. But I guess that adds to the feel of the whole album.
