| heartland rocker scores again!!!
continues to be one the best singer songwriters in music today in this follow up to 1989's big daddy johnnie continues to showcase his writing skills as he opens himself up and takes you to places you may not nessecerily want to but shows such raw emotion with a dignity very very uncommon in his generation,as he continues to progress into one of this generations finest songwriters one of his best!!!!

| Bold Bold Effort by this enormous talent
Love all John's material, however this one really caught me by surprise. An album as jagged and clear as a crystal razor on a bed of ice.

this album is one of his best, it rocks a little harder than most Mellencamp releases. A more cheerful bunch of songs than he usually does too.
