In this season, Uncle Martin's powers have been greatly expanded. He can generate force fields, dream in two dimensions, project images from the mind's eye, and use "digital levitation" - bu he can't keep from getting Tim into all kinds of trouble. The set includes 38 original episodes. Tim O'Hara (Bill Bixby) is a Los Angeles news reporter in this landmark sitcom from the early 1960s. His life is turned upside down when he discovers a crashed spacecraft one night on his way home. Tim befriends its likeable pilot (Ray Walston), who appears human except for a pair of retractable antennae, and takes both him and his ship home. Passing the Martian off as his Uncle Martin, Tim is now presented with the challenge of keeping his new friend's identity a secret; Martin's alien characteristics often manifest in powers gone awry, or in strange Martian illnesses that are difficult to explain away. He also is given to inventing strange gadgets and tools that wreak havoc on everyone who encounters them. The unlikely duo's nosy neighbor, Mrs. Lorelei Brown, doesn't make things any easier, as she and her family are constantly coming upon things they weren't supposed to see. The second season includes the episodes "Uncle Martin and the Identified Flying Object," where Martin loses control of his ability to move large objects; "Once Upon a Martian Mother's Day," where Martin encounters his mother's double; and "The Green Eyed Martian," where Martin's "irresistible spray" makes Mrs. Brown just that. My Favorite Martian - The Complete Second Season film
$26.05 MY FAVORITE MARTIAN aired from 1963 to 1966, becoming one of the first in a long line of situation comedies that adopt fantastical premises. The story centered around Tim O'Hara, a bachelor news reporter for the Los Angeles Sun, who stumbles one night across a crashed spacecraft, and befriends its occupant. Tim decides to take the Martian home and pass him off as his Uncle Martin, giving rises to a series of comedic near-misses where Martin's true identity is almost discovered. Most bothersome is Tim's next door neighbor Loralee, a meddling woman who is constantly intruding on her neighbors' affairs. Although Martin looks human and speaks English, he has a number of tricks up his sleeve that include telepathy, the ability to make himself invisible, and a troublesome antenna that sometimes emerges from the top of his head, all of which threaten to give him away at any time. In the first season, Martin becomes ...
