This DVD is a coming-of-age story about Danish high-school students. Three friends come of age in the Danish comedy-drama KICK 'N RUSH (2 RYK OG EN AFLEVERING), which strives towards a more realistic vision of teenage life than the average comparable American film. Jakob, Bo, and Mikkel all share a passion for girls, soccer, and the movies, but their common interests and bonds of friendship begin to buckle under the many changes in their lives. Bo, star of the soccer team, falls in with an older crowd while Jakob finally manages to find love with classmate Mathilde. As they grow apart, the three mates are put to a final test that will determine the nature of the friendship and perhaps their future lives.
This is the only Jacob Krarup video. Stars also making their debut in this video: Esben Smed Jensen, Aage Rais-Nordentoft. $23.39 THE PROPOSAL could have been a strictly script-by-numbers affair, but hilarious performances by Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds improve this romantic comedy. Publishing powerhouse Margaret Tate (Bullock, TWO WEEKS NOTICE) is used to getting her way. She bullies her ambitious assistant, Andrew Paxton (Reynolds, DEFINITELY, MAYBE), earning the ire of all the underlings at Colden Books in New York City. But Margaret, a native Canadian, finds her career in jeopardy when she is denied a visa and learns she will be sent northward. She forces Andrew to become her fiancé, but she’ll have to take a trip home to Alaska with him to prove to U.S. Immigration that their impending union is genuine.
What ensues is a combination of GREEN CARD, THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, and GREEN ACRES, with the hell-in-heels boss trying to fake a romance with her assistant as she struggles to survive as a city girl in the country. However, THE PROPOSAL proves to be more than the ...

Kick 'N Rush review
$7.19 Tim Allen re-teams with director John Pasquin (THE SANTA CLAUSE) in JOE SOMEBODY. Allen stars as Joe Scheffer, a mild-mannered man who makes promotional videos for a Minneapolis pharmaceutical company. Joe is divorced and quietly unhappy until the office bully, Mark McKinney (Patrick Warburton), punches him out in the company parking lot, in front of Joe's precocious young daughter. The humiliated Joe sinks into such a deep depression that not even the flirtations of the company's pretty "wellness coordinator" (Julie Bowen) can rouse him. Joe decides that he has to restore his pride by challenging McKinney to a fight, and suddenly finds himself the most popular man in the office. Joe even hires a washed-up action movie star (Jim Belushi in a hilariously grizzled performance) to teach him martial arts. He soon finds that he has to weigh the allure of his newfound popularity against the love and respect of those who liked him the way he was.
WELCOME TO MOOSEPORT takes place in the quiet, charming town of Mooseport, Maine. The sleepy community is invaded by the former president of the country in this Capraesque comedy starring Ray Romano and Gene Hackman. Monroe "The Eagle" Cole (Gene Hackman) is a hugely popular Clinton-era former president, who retires to bucolic Mooseport, Maine, after a bitter divorce from his wife (Christine Baranski). Coincidentally, Mooseport is in need of a new mayor, and Cole steps into what he thinks will be a one-man race and a much-needed publicity boost. However, ...
