Following close on the heels of a name-check on Twista's "Slow Jamz," and half of the group (K-CI & JoJo) releasing their own "best of" collection, bedroom-soul icons Jodeci came out with their own greatest-hits album, BACK TO THE FUTURE: THE VERY BEST OF JODECI. The two sets of brothers who comprised Jodeci earned an exalted rank in early-'90s soul via sensual torch songs bathed in funk with firm roots in the unforgettable melodies of Motown. The group could seduce overtly with a straight-forward grab like "Freek 'N You" or move smoothly as they did with a reinterpretation of Stevie Wonder's "Lately" that somehow managed to add to the love and longing of the original. They could exude an air of vulnerability on "Come & Talk To Me," or pledge eternity with "Forever My Love." While Jodeci exuded an air of sex, there was an instinctive subtlety about them that made them the perfect counterpoint to Boyz II Men's G-rated soul. This disc collects all the band's hits along with frenetic remixes in a satisfying package. This CD brings back all the memories back in the day. Jodeci were pioneers with a certain style of music not heard often today. It puts you right back in the mood. It's laid back, relaxing, sensual, put simply, all that. If you liked R&B back in the ninties, you need to get this CD. This one is the BOMB.

This cd is off the chain, it brings you back to the 90s when all the classic r&b groups were on top like h-town, shai, jodeci. This cd is defenitley the album u wanna get if you want to set the mood for you and your lady.

This is the shizznit for all those people that like the love making slow jams. This to me is an award winning group, they are fantastic. (Second best to Prince of course).

this cd has everything u could ever want from jodeci...except one song....check out "U and I" from there first cd(forever my lady) it is there most powerful song in my opinion.

TP.3 Reloaded is thematically opposite to Happy People/U Saved Me. The first hour of the album is mostly about getting rowdy and getting it on, full of some of the clumsiest and lewdest lyrics R. Kelly has written. Funniest of all is the relatively tame "Kickin' It With Your Girlfriend," where Kelly apologizes to his woman for cheating on her, says he didn't mean to cause pain, proceeds to tell her about all about the affair, and in a roundabout way suggests that it's her fault for allowing him to cross paths with her girlfriend.
