This deluxe edition package features live versions of top hits plus classics. The DVD includes bonus features including backstage footage, additional performances, photo gallery, and fun interviews. The set was recorded live at the historic Fillmore in San Francisco.
Renowned as a live ensemble even before its first studio record, Ozomatli finally released a concert album seven years after its lauded 1998 debut. LIVE AT THE FILLMORE draws most heavily from that self-titled disc and the Los Angeles collective's 2004 outing, STREET SIGNS, with rock, funk, pop, and hip-hop elevated by the group's potent Latin rhythms. Ozomatli's performances do not disappoint; in fact, these tunes often outshine their studio counterparts, since they offer an added shot of spontaneity and energy. Whether conjuring up hypnotic, atmospheric hard rock ("Believe") or frenetic dance-floor cancions ("Chango"), Ozomatli is in fine form here.
Ozomatli: Raúl Pacheco (vocals, guitars); Asdrubal Sierra (vocals, trumpet, keyboards); Justin "Niño" Porée (rap vocals, percussion); Jabulani Smith-Freeman (rap vocals); Ulises Bella (clarinet, saxophone, keyboards, background vocals); Sheffer Bruton (trombone, background vocals); Wil-Dog Abers (electric bass, background vocals); Mario Calire (drums); Jiro Yamaguchi (tabla, percussion); DJ Spinobi (turntables).
Mojo (Publisher) (p.110) - 3 stars out of 5 - "[A] greatest hits that has everything fans could hope for...with great dollops of crowd noise and plenty of desirable aural chaos." Next best thing to being there! Ozomatli has won two grammys and are probably the best live band anywhere. Now you can see for yourself with this AMAZING DVD experience, and a live CD to boot all for one price. Only Ozo would do this. Why they have not blown up on the air is beyond me, but don't miss out. Guaranteed greatness.

Finally an Ozomatli concert every day!! I was so excited when I found out that Ozo was releasing a DVD. I have been listening to the band for about 4 years now and have seen them in concert 3 times. I have seen many shows in my day of all different musical genres and Ozomatli by far blows every one of them out of the water. The DVD is perfect because it gives you that wonderful feeling of actually seeing them live! Another great bonus is the CD that comes with it! That way, you can listen to them on the go as well!
Overall, the Dvd is full of energy and excitement and highly recommended. Submitted by Angie (Cincinnati, OH, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

| | VH1 Presents The Corrs Live In Dublin CD (2002)
Live At The Fillmore
$6.39 This audio document of The Corrs' Dublin homecoming concert has pretty much everything fans of Irish pop could wish for, including an appearance from Bono in his earthly incarnation, fresh from an audience with President George W. Bush. It's to the band's credit that the charismatic singer fails to steal the show, despite creditable ...

| | Marshall Tucker Band Where We All Belong CD (1974) Bonus Tracks; Remastered
Live At The Fillmore
$10.69 Originally released on Capricorn Records (0145). Includes liner notes by Barry Alfonso.
Although it runs a little long, Where We All Belong captures the sound of The Marshall Tucker Band coming into its own. Half the tracks are new studio recordings, which are more focused than their previous releases; the other half is a harder-edged, jam-oriented live set. Taken together, they show that the band was progressing musically. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine

| | Lilys Precollection CD (2003)
Live At The Fillmore
$10.79 One of indie's most continually shape-shifting bands, the Lilys perform another quick change on their seventh album, Precollection. However, this transformation feels more like a natural progression than their move away from dream pop to '60s-inspired mod rock a few years previously; this time, Kurt Heasley and company still look to that decade for inspiration, but draw from the delicate, literate side of Love and the Kinks' body of work. The dark, jangly sound of '80s college rock also seems to be an inspiration, hovering around the title track and "365" as though the band were channeling the Church. Most of the rest of Precollection seems to come from a twilight era between 1966 and 1967 that mixes psychedelic, pop, and folk influences. Granted, most of Heasley's work since A Brief History of Amazing Letdowns has its roots firmly ...
