This is the second Brownsville album, and the last that then rhythm guitarist Mike Lutz sang lead. The third album, Yeah! (Smokin'in the Boy's Room) saw Lutz move from guitar to bass and lead guitarist Cub Koda take over the majority of the vocal duties, as the quartet changed to a power trio. While it can't be argued that Koda was the band leader and made them run, Lutz' vocals were far superior IMHO. In any event, this album is full of good old rock and roll. Rock to the Music and Mr. Robert are great tunes, and the boys do a fantastic rendition of When the Saints Come Marching In, as well as a great cover of Motown's Leavin' Here. For anyone who likes roots rock, this one is a winner!

||Maximum energetic level|
This is the sophomore album by Brownsville Station. Tony Driggins plays in this record (bass, vocals) and he gives a distinctive sound to the band, perhaps a slightly funky touch. Sam Lutz plays now guitar, keyboards and lead vocals. Excellent production by Eric Stevens, who gives a powerful sound to the band. Brownsville Station come from Detroit, Michigan. This is Hard Rock/Blues Rock/Rock & Roll/Boogie Rock/Detroit Rock with maximum energetic level. The band has an interesting Souther sound, although they are from Ann Arbor. It's a pity they are so underrated. They were a very powerful group. Cub Koda was an unstoppable whirlwind (he was a great comic and showman, music critic for Allmusic, record collector and musical erudite). When playin' live, they knew how to shake a crowd to the limit.

||Mr. Robert, indeed.|
Brownsville Station's sophomore effort, "Rock With the Music" "Wanted- Dead or Alive" and "Mr. Robert" are the stand out tracks, I liked "Country Flavor" (Tony Driggins vocals) a lot!! "Mr. Robert" was written for Bob Seger, check out the line "Well if it's too loud for ya, ya better sell your house and move!"
