WORSHIP JAMZ comes from the same people who brought the world the popular KIDZ BOP series, which featured a group of talented young singers reinterpreting hits of the day to make them more appealing to children's tender ears. As its name implies, WORSHIP JAMZ gives the same treatment to gospel songs, specifically tunes from musicians such as Rich Mullins and Third Day, who bring modern country, pop, and rock sensibilities to their testaments to the Lord.
The resulting melange is a spirited celebration of love and praise that should effectively grab the attention of young listeners, stir them into sing-along passion, and open their ears to the message. The two discs run the gamut of devotional music from the peppy "Every Move I Make" to the reverent. nouveau-Sunday School anthem "Awesome God." All tracks on WORSHIP JAMZ capture the emotional depth of the originals, with youthful singers lending their strong, enthusiastic voices. WORSHIP JAMZ reflects the heart of the Contemporary Christian movement with requisite zest, a fitting introduction to Christian themes for any kid.

Worship Jamz album
$15.65 Razor & Tie's Monster Ballads provides a near-definitive portrait of the golden age of the power ballad, the late '80s/early '90s (henceforth known as the Bush era). Sure, a few of the 16 songs were recorded prior to the Bush era (such as Mike Reno and Anne Wilson's genre-defining "Almost Paradise" or Europe's "Carrie"), and there are a few noticeable omissions (no Bon Jovi or Slaughter, "Something to Believe In" instead of the classic "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" from Poison), but it's hard to argue with almost everything here. Nearly every classic power ballad is here -- "Heaven," "High Enough," "Is This Love," "To Be With You," "Don't ...

Worship Jamz CD music
$17.39 A truly neglected classic, 999's eponymous debut album was issued in March, 1978, on the back of three stunning 45s -- the romping "I'm Alive," the anthemic "Nasty Nasty," and the oddly ambitious "Me and My Desire." The first and last of these appeared on the album, together with the summer smash that never was, June, 1978's, ...

$10.15 This guy is a Rapper in Real Life. Not in the stereotypical sense that might lead you to think of Bentleys and Half-naked women, but the kind where the lack of showboating brings you closer to who he really is as a person. Originally from Dayton, OH, Big Kev was always a true fan of hip hop, Even as an ashy little kid, he loved music that had both personality and content. At Tennessee State University (TSU), his college hustle was producing tracks, recording demos, and making press kits for other local artists. Stepping into his own, Kev became a fan favorite, claiming his status as a Top Performer at the best known open mic in Nashville, TN known as Lovenoise. Here is where he rocked crowds with his comedic persona, engaging flow, Busta-Rhymes-like energy, and not-to-mention his likeness to comedian Dave Chappelle. At the release of his label's mixtape Hood Celebrities: We Don't Starve, We're The Stars, Big Kev shined on his solo "Came Back for You". Produced by Kanye West, only to follow up with more hits like the crowd favorite "Sunny D", "Take it to the Top", "Marti Mcfli", and "Move it like a Robot". Big Kev is currently doing club dates, writing hip hop and R&B for other artists, and promoting his current release CRAM SESSION (Cathing you up on all the !$ you missed!!!) in preparation for the new album BIG KEV as THE NONTRADITIONAL STUDENTdue in 2009. He's also promoting his blog and series of youtube videos entitled RAPPERS IN REAL LIFE, featuring his daily adventures, performances, and commentary on everything from hip hop, male/female relationships, sex, and politics. It's clear to see why Big Kev is in demand and is showing a very successful music career. Now Based in Atlanta, the only place to go is up.... He has worked with DJ Pocket, Fate Eastwood, Robin Raynelle, Bo Streeter, Nashville Chance, Taylord Entertainment, Dj Aaries, Baby Ghatti aka Capo, Cory Sparks, Al Lozano, Janiro Hawkins, Dj Bad Ideas, Tony Montana (Bang Out), Nyse, ...
