Well when I heard this album I got dissapointed 'cause of the expectancy of another awake album but well what i think that this guys are willing is to attarct younger fans, besides DT always says that the band has 3 side prog, heavy and melodic so in this albums melodics is more evident that in the previos albums this is my humble oppinion. one thing is for sure u hate it or love it, but with some time u may like it. it up to you.

||Not Bad, but could be better|
I've been a DT fan since their first album. I know how a bad DT album sounds and this one doesn't sound like that, but something stills bothering me. It seems like DT tried to make a different album, and ended up making an album that sounds like a mixture of all their recent albums. Its something like Scenes from a Memory meets Train of Thought. I'm starting to like this album, but I believe it can pass from Mediocre/Good to Genius if they remove the lyrics from some songs. This album is a lot easier to listen than their last three albums, but if you're interested into knowing DT, you better start by listening to the Images and Words, Awake, and Scenes from a Memory albums. Best track for me, Panic Attack.

||Dream Theater <3|
Few reviews have called this worstest DT album ever, I woudln't say so. I think new albums are lot better the old ones. This is great album, with great songs, I have no bad word about this.

Japanese pressing of their 2005 album features the same tracks as the US pressing. Warner/Japan opted in the end to not include any bonus material.
