this cd isnt that tight at all. i dint know why he walked out of pastor troy. he should of stay with him. peter cant rap for his life.

this cd is off da chain. Pete is really doin it, but isn't out tha shadow of PT (yet). But maybe on his way...There was alot of good hits but no G.R.E.A.T. hits like "Vica Versa". Real Talk: remember PT is tha official "King of Da South" one record from Peter isn't goin to change that,but still itz a good record so I gave it 4 stars.

Six years since their debut and with little mainstream notice, Dirty make their 2005 play for the big time by acting less like OutKast and more like true thugs on the ambitious Hood Stories. No doubt, this is a duo to root for. Dirty are scrappy and ambitious, and Hood Stories aims to be taken seriously with introspective tracks and political numbers playing a larger role than usual. It's admirable that "Git Cha Handz Off Me" addresses police violence and that the plaintive reflection of "Sometimes" and the smoky "Just a Little Bit Mo" are fleshed out with some poignant rhymes, but revolution songs and entirely deep numbers seem out of Dirty's reach this time around. Hood Stories comes alive when it gets out of its own head and hits the streets or the clubs. Beat Goes On goes to one of its inspirations here, packaging two Imperial albums by Cher, from 1966 and 1968 respectively. Both were produced by Sonny Bono, her husband at the time, but things were looking rocky at this point, as evidenced by the first song on the latter album, the single "You Better Sit Down Kids" written by Bono.
