This 2-DVD set includes 6 hours of the TV series starring Bill Pullman and Natascha McElhone, plus behind-the-scenes featurette. Written by David Seltzer (THE OMEN), REVELATIONS is a religious mystery that was originally shown as a television mini-series. Physicist Richard Massey (Bill Pullman) has been coping with the murder of his daughter at the hands of a murderer claiming to be sent by the devil himself. Despite being an avowed atheist, he is contacted by Sister Josepha Montefiore (Natascha McElhone) who is investigating unusual religious occurrences taking place around the world. Sister Josepha believes these events are the beginning signals of the apocalypse as foretold in the Biblical book of Revelation. As she tries to convince Massey of the truth behind these signs, he confronts his daughter's murderer and begins to suspect that perhaps the Sister is correct. But if a massive disaster is coming, can Massey and Sister Josepha do anything to avert it? Revelations - The Complete Mini-Series Movie Review Average Rating: (4.5 out of 5 stars) i wanted more of the series is it interesting ,great plot ,eventhough there are several movies related to "the end of the day and the coming of the antichrist."
this movie keeps you on your seat , the power of faith and science coming together , too bad that it ended for my taste too soon, it is a miniseries.

Interesting but some mistakes The caracters are very interesting, and we follow the story, running with them, to know how they will manage until the end.
From the review it says they have to do that all in 6 hours, as each part of the movie is one hour. That is totally impossible when you see already how many nights and days you see on the movie, to be only 6 hours. Also the author forget that to travel from USA to Europe in plane you need already few hours, and as the movie heros do it several time, going from USA to Greece, come back, going to Canada, come back, going to Rome, come back, going to Prague, come back, going to Tiberiad...(did i miss one travel ?) Well, one full week would have been the least they could have to do that. The Author most of the time always forget that you don't travel in plane as you travel with the Yan Solo spaceship. This is not Star Wars or Star Trek, this is earth in 2005-2006, with our specify techonogy, which means already 8 hours to do New York-Paris on an usual plane, and only 3 hours if you use the Concorde (supersonic french plane, not in activity now) which is obviously not the case...
Also for the brail part of the book, tell me how a guy died in the 15th century managed to write in brail, when this writing have been invented in the middle of the 19th century ? The idea was good, but it is technicaly impossible. This is not serious at all.
Too bad for the author, but if you forget those mistakes (and i speak of the most evidence), the movie is interesting on the human way to keep hope. Submitted by Toto (France) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Revelations - The Complete Mini-Series video
$9.09 Burgeoning smooth jazz superstar Steve Cole continues to bridge the gap between pop-jazz and classic R&B on his third studio album, NY LA. Featuring strong melodic statements and truly funky keyboards via the likes of Brian Culbertson and Marquis "Hami" Dair, NY LA is a moody and solid affair. From the disco-influenced "Off Broadway," which harkens back to the best work of the Crusaders, to the Donald Byrd-esque "Interlude IV," tenor saxophonist Cole deftly crosses the boundary from jazz soloist to R&B heavyweight. More Grover Washington, Jr. than Kenny G., Cole manages to keep things organic and simple -- despite the use of programmed drum ...

| | Steve Oliver 3-D CD (2004)
Revelations - The Complete Mini-Series review
$14.65 As one reviewer said of the cheerful music and personality of this increasingly popular voice of smooth jazz guitar, it's Disneyland all the time with him. In other words, Positive Energy, the name of his second genre disc, wasn't just a happy marketing tool. And the title of this disc is appropriate, too, because with the co-production help of founding Spyro Gyra keyboardist Tom Schuman, Oliver digs deep into a rich variety of influences for a multifaceted romp through the worlds of pop, jazz, urban/hip-hop, worldbeat, Brazilian, and Latin music. While focusing as always on his classic acoustic guitar and brilliant "vocalese" to convey the lead melodies on the instrumentals, he stretches into edgier blues territory with his lesser-heard electric on "In the Shade of Cool." Joining all-star guests like Fourplay ...
| | Jeff Kashiwa Peace Of Mind CD (2004)
Revelations - The Complete Mini-Series DVD
$12.39 Jeff Kashiwa has a fluent if generic style on soprano, alto, and tenor, which fits perfectly into the "feel good" smooth music that he performs on "Peace of Mind." The 11 selections clock in between 3:46 and 5:14 and were clearly recorded with hopes of getting maximum radio airplay. Kashiwa's rhythm section is effective if anonymous (despite the presence of Brian Bromberg on bass) with the focus being almost entirely on the leader's melodic playing. While the music is lightly grooving and mildly soulful and Kashiwa plays well, no surprises occur and this set never rises above the level of ...

A labor of love for Oscar-winning screenwriter Eric Roth (FORREST GUMP), the film tells an epic, fictionalized account of how the Central Intelligence Agency was born.
