BOBNOXIOUS www.bobnoxiousrock.com Bob J. Reid-Vocals, Guitar Jeff Bialkowsky-Guitar David Wyles-Drums Stan Fountain-Bass \"Like us or not, you can\'t ignore us!\"-Bob J.Reid It\'s loud. It\'s lewd. It\'s in-your-face. It\'s what made Kiss and AC/DC famous and it\'s what this band oozes from every pore. Prepare to welcome London, Ontario\'s Bobnoxious to the fold of infectious, simple, two fisted, twisted rock \'n \'roll that will kick your ass over and over again. Blowing away Southern Ontario with their electrifying live show over the past two years, Bobnoxious is nothing less than the loud guitars, grooving bass and booming drums any self-respecting rock fan has come to expect, let alone love and adore. With a twist. Featuring four-part vocal harmonies and a stunning visual light show to enthral you from beginning to end, it\'s no wonder that Bobnoxious reign supreme in the world of independent music. Brainchild of Bob J.Reid (voice, guitar) and featuring Jeff Bialkowsky (guitar, backing voice), David Wyles (drums, backing voice) and Stan Fountain (bass, backing voice), Bobnoxious is poised to take Canada by storm. The product of harder times in the life of founding member Reid (best known as the lead singerguitarist for the popular rock band S.F.H and vocalist for one of Canada\'s most legendary and influential metal bands, RAZOR), Bobnoxious is equally as vicious and raucous as any of Reid\'s earlier works. \"I was going through some personal shit,\" he relates, discussing the band\'s primordial origins. \"During those months/years I didn\'t have a band to jam in or write for because Razor wasn\'t doing anything and S.F.H. died. In other words, I was writing for ME! When I wrote these songs I wasn\'t writing for a band I was in, just writing for me so there was no real theme to the writing process.\" Yet Reid quickly found one. \"Well, maybe there was a f**k everything theme,\" he laughs. \"I needed to find a place for these songs; a common ground, so some songs being dark and doomy went in this pile and the songs with an obnoxious overtone went in that pile. That pile became Bobnoxious.\" And what a pile it is. With a foundation this brutal and muscular, one need not wonder how the band sold out of their eponymous debut\'s first pressing in under a year or how initial single \"Won\'t Go Quietly\" receives regular rotation on many Southern Ontario stations-a feat that has garnered Bobnoxious a prestigious slot in London\'s FM96 Top 96 of 2005 and top honours on www.VH1.com\'s ratings board. Similarly, track \"Big Cannons\" has become the theme song for FM96\'s ever-popular \"Brad\'s Friday Night Basement Party\" and \"Won\'t Go Quietly\" has developed such a ravenous following that the band has been virtually forced into full national distribution of the full-length album once more. However, with such humble beginnings, it\'s no surprise that Bobnoxious (the band and the album) have generated such a loyal following. As noted, the music is culled from the deepest pits of personal tragedy and despair, holding a sincerity and honesty unequalled in rock today. Peppered with sarcasm and personal insight, Reid hopes the record will not only appeal to those looking for a party, but also to some embittered souls. \"This record exists solely because of the circumstance of my life and the very need to explode in front of a microphone and not in front of my kids or those wishing to see me destroy myself during those long, agonizing months,\" he reveals. \"If you like solid hard rockin\' tunes, laced with sarcasm and road rage lyrics, you\'ll dig this. The best medicine for me was to be able to laugh at myself. Maybe you\'ll find humour in it too. I think some songs can really hit home for some people.\" \"But I did what I want and felt Two Fisted Twisted Rock N Roll Music Bobnoxious Two Fisted Twisted Rock N Roll Songs | 1. | Big Cannons |
