5 stars That´s PRONG! Bludgeoning and still kickin´!
What´s else to say about Prong? Legendary CBGB´s Tommy Victor has left it´s trademark and its style of his own, as well as Ted Parsons and Paul Raven (of Killing Joke), while playing and making a cross reference between what was used to know as Heavy/Thrash Metal and some other organic and inorganic influences when putting together with Industrial and Electronic sounds. That´s Prong! And its mark in the Metal scene, so full of crap ups and torn betweens...is going to stay as heavy and forward minded as ever!!!

The gritty guitars, the stop/start rhythms, the anger and the vicious ill will are all back in Prong's Scorpio Rising. Now, who forgot the songs? Minus the hooks, Prong just gets by on their ferociousness, keeping their return album from being a total washout. Eight years without a studio album made the hardcore itchy with anticipation, and for them, Scorpio Rising might be just volatile enough. With the album, Prong's sound has become slower. It's sludgy but with quite the rumble underneath. Tommy Victor's voice has dropped in pitch too, becoming a roaring howl that's darn near otherworldly. The opening "Detached" holds plenty of promise, but one rumbling number after another with nothing to grip on to weakens the overall punch. With a bluesy beat, "Entrance to the Eclipse" ...

This inventive documentary features the renown German director Werner Herzog on the trail of the fabled Loch Ness Monster. The film begins in Herzog's Los Angeles home during a star-studded dinner party with, among others, Jeff Goldblum, Crispin Glover, and Ricky Jay. Herzog, who directed the legendary AGUIRRE THE WRATH OF GOD and FITZCARRALDO, explains to cameras that the existence of the Loch Ness monster is far less important to him than society's collective experience of the imaginary creature. Herzog and his elite documentary crew travel to Scotland to begin production.
