Standard Screen; Soundtrack English In the early 1990s, Green Day injected the punk scene with a new life, introducing their catchy pop riffs infused with lyrics that reflected the current slacker mentality. Influenced by such first-generation bands like the Buzzcocks, the group introduced punk to a new generation, and the award-winning record DOOKIE managed to perfectly capture the mindset of a generation. The release of their 2004 album, AMERICAN IDIOT, retained their hardnosed criticism of American culture with songs like "Jesus of Suburbia" and of course, the title track. This exploration of Green Day's history follows the band's trajectory from the Bay Area's Gilman St. punk scene in the early 1990s, to their status as one of the most successful punk bands the world has ever seen. History Of Green Day Movie Review Average Rating: (3.7 out of 5 stars) greenday if you have been a GREENDAY fan for almost 20 years like I have, from the time they were "sweet children", then you will love this. How the word boyband even fits into the culture???CRAZY! GREENDAY is now not only one of the biggest punk bands of all times, they are becoming one of the best bands ever...(I saw them LAST in 2005 on their american idiot tour and they were as amazing if not more so even than when i saw them at woodstock(25th year anniversay of the original) and if possible, even better than when I saw them 4 other times playing smaller arenas and venues. Great music, great band! Great DVD! Buy it!

History of another BOYBAND pretending to be punk In the early 1990s, Green Day injected the Boyband scene with a new life, introducing their cheesy pop riffs infused with lyrics that reflected the current Boyband mentality. Influenced by such first-generation bands like New Kids on the Block, the group introduced cheesy pop disguised as "punk" to a new generation, and the award-winning record DOOKIE managed to perfectly capture the mindset of a Boyband generation calling their cheesy music "punk". The release of their 2004 album, AMERICAN IDIOT, reinforced the fact that this band is a cheesy band for pre-teen girls that think this cheesy music is punk. LET THE THRUTH BE KNOWN, THIS IS NOT PUNK BUT CHEESY BOYBAND MUSIC Submitted by GREEN BOYBAND (New Jersey) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 0 of 2 found this helpful.

$15.75 The hallowed tradition of the post-college European backpacking trip turns into an unimaginable nightmare for two unsuspecting American 20-somethings in Eli Roth's (CABIN FEVER) sensational second outing. Paxton (Jay Hernandez) and Josh (Derek Richardson) have embarked upon a hedonistic tour of the continent, and somewhere along the way they picked up an Icelandic lunk named Oli (Eythor Gudjonsson). In Amsterdam the trio partakes of the pastimes most dear to frat boys everywhere: weed, prostitutes, and nightclubs. But when a fellow traveler tells these thrill-seekers about the decadent scene that awaits them in Bratislava, they find themselves unable to resist its lures; enticed by the promise of a hostel full of beautiful girls who love Americans, they set out for the remote areas of Eastern Europe. There, the sex farce to which the film's first half is devoted slowly turns ominous, as the boys hook up immediately with the gorgeous Natalya (Barbara Nedeljakova) and Svetlana (Jana Kaderabkova), whose eagerness masks more sinister intentions.

$149.69 KNOWING ME KNOWING YOU..WITH ALAN PARTRIDGE: A sidesplitting parody of talk shows (or "chat shows" as they're called in the U.K.), KNOWING ME KNOWING YOU..WITH ALAN PARTRIDGE is simply one of the funniest television programs ever made. The character of Alan Partridge was invented by Steve Coogan (24 HOUR PARTY PEOPLE), and carefully sculpted by Coogan and his co-writers Armando Iannucci and Patrick Marber (CLOSER).
LITTLE BRITAIN: THE COMPLETE FIRST SERIES: An odd, distinctly British sketch show, LITTLE BRITAIN rose to become one of the most popular comedy shows in its native U.K. Starring Matt Lucas and David Walliams in a variety of guises, each sketch features a unique take on the minutiae of British life.
THE OFFICE: THE COMPLETE FIRST SERIES: When the Wernham Hogg paper merchants needed someone to come in and shape up their office, they found the man who definitely thinks he is the most capable candidate in David Brent (Ricky Gervais). Brent rules a tight ship, but at the same time tries to be every employee's best friend. Brent is the centerpiece for this brilliant satire of 9-to-5 office life. Camera crews follow Brent and his employees around in this British series, which uses no laugh track--and doesn't need one.
THE OFFICE: THE COMPLETE SECOND SERIES: David Brent (Ricky Gervais) is up to the same old sorry tricks in the second season of the BBC's masterly comedy series, THE OFFICE. Unfortunately for David, his company has merged, and coworker Neil (Patrick Baladi) is now his boss. Nonetheless, David retains his hopelessly "cheery" demeanor in order to stay pals with Tim (Martin Freeman), Gareth (Mackenzie Crook), and Lucy (Dawn Tinsley), who see through his pathetic facade.
THE OFFICE SPECIAL: With David Brent (Ricky Gervais) receiving ...

$25.39 Somewhere out in the mountains of north Georgia there's an inbred family of trashy, beer-drinking, fist-fighting folk who are as American as apple pie, except for one thing--they're squids. That's okay, though, because it's not going to stop these dirt-poor, sea-animal rednecks from robbing liquor stores, running from the sheriff, ...
