In just over two hours, it captures the hypertense and chilling atmosphere of "The Bunker." The cinematography is brilliant, however, the persecution of the Jews was barely mentioned. Perhaps this is due to the fact that in April, 1945, there weren't many Jews left in Berlin, Germany. By John (Philadelphia, PA, USA)  (1) (0) Helpful? Hitler's finale This film answers any question you may have about the end of Hitler's Reich but were afraid to ask. It accurately portrays the last hours of Hitler and his Nazi regime. No one sympathizes with the "who's who" list of Nazi officials which meet their end in the bunker. However,the film isn't just about Hitler, but the people who followed him into the darkest parts of desperation and depravity at the end of the war. I think dubbing would take away something from the film, but a dubbed version would be helpful with people who have difficulty with subtitles. It's a "must see" for anyone interested in WWII. This movie shows the intimate and final moments of Hitler and his close so believed "friends" It is a unique type of film for it shows a different perspective of a person and history that we were used to read in hundreds of books written by those who won the war. Everything about it is outstanding. Directing, editing, producing, the script, the scenes from outside the bunker, all of it. These actors really make you feel for what is happening, even though it happened to some really bad people. You'll really feel for the German civilians in those last hours of the war. To see how those people acted on their beliefs and what their beliefs were is amazing. I would like to see more from the director. Hitler was a bad dude, but Ganz plays him supremely.
