| | Bow Wow Wanted CD Bow Wow Discography of CDs
(15 Customer Reviews)
That Bow Wow had dropped the diminutive "Lil" from his moniker was old news by the release of WANTED, his fourth album. WANTED was released shortly after the rapper's 18th birthday, but if there were any questions about the legitimacy of his maturity and worldliness, the song "Big Dreams" should put them to rest. The song's narrative about the ever-present pitfalls of life in the 'hood is brought to life by the searing authority in Bow Wow's voice.
Bow Wow makes the transition to adult MC with ease, which is surprising given that he spent much of his early career in the shadow of his mentor Snoop Dogg. Still, Bow Wow proves himself a skilled prodigy. Snoop, of course, makes his appearance on WANTED, trading rhymes with Bow Wow on "Caviar." J-Kwon, Ciara, and producer/rapper Jermaine Dupri also appear here, but the guests are mere background. Whether boastful, as on "B.O.W.," or rap-crooning sweetly, as on the singles "Let Me Hold You" and "Like You," Bow Wow is the center of attention. WANTED is a potent coming-of-age statement from this self-assured MC.

Average Bow Wow I didn' find this album to be all that good. I liked "Let Me..", "Like You", "B.O.W", and "GO", but everything after that I was not feeling too much. It's not something I would play everyday but something I would play if I'm bored. I don't know why Bow Wow is trying to act hard cause he's 18 but who knows. | | VH1 Presents The Corrs Live In Dublin CD (2002)
Wanted album
$6.39 (MP3 Available for Download) This audio document of The Corrs' Dublin homecoming concert has pretty much everything fans of Irish pop could wish for, including an appearance from Bono in his earthly incarnation, fresh from an audience with President George W. Bush. It's to the band's credit that the charismatic singer fails to steal the show, despite creditable efforts via an anthemized version of Ryan Adams' beautifully downtempo ...

$11.99 (MP3 Available for Download) A sprawling two-disc set, the Drive-By Truckers' SOUTHERN ROCK OPERA is a cracked masterpiece that's enjoyable on several different levels. Wanted album
$7.59 (MP3 Available for Download) In the '70s, west coast singer-songwriters such as Jackson Browne, Lindsay Buckingham, and the Eagles were releasing smooth tunes that seemed to inhabit the laid back demeanor of their locale. Zevon sprang up like a wild card, a thrilling combination of gun-toting maniac, well read intellectual, piano-pounding rocker, and unashamedly romantic balladeer. That he was the toughest of his breed was inarguable. That he might drink himself into oblivion was ...

| | Echoboy Volume One CD (2000)
Wanted MP3 Album
$10.59 (MP3 Available for Download) It's easy to see why Noel Gallagher wanted Richard Warren, aka Echoboy, to join Oasis. Echoboy's love of sounds, both experimental and pop, are evident throughout Volume One. "55" and "Model 352" are the work of a sound chemist, the first song a dark, percolating dirge, the latter a noisy, cluttered track awash in all sorts of sound effects. "Kit and Holly" displays the pop side of Echoboy's interests, sounding like a long lost classic from Echo & the Bunnymen, or Love and Rockets finally getting its electronic post-Earth, Sun, Moon wanderings right. When compared to the rest of the album, "Walking" is another somewhat traditional song; it ends before it really gets going, but does display fine pop musicianship and the fragile, pretty vocals of Tasha ...

| | Eric Horner For God & Country CD (2007)
Wanted CD music
$13.29 "I appreciate your performances for our soldiers and their families. Your support is enormously important to those who wear the uniform and to their families. Thanks very much!"General David PetraeusU.S. Commander, Iraq 2007Eric Horner was born and raised in Paducah, KY. Growing up without military in his family, he knew very little about the armed forces and the sacrifices they make. At least not until signing on as a guitarist and backup vocalist for country superstar Lee Greenwood in 1988. Greenwoods patriotic anthem "God Bless the USA" played a big role in introducing Eric to the military by way of USO and Department of Defense tours around the globe. Eric made many friends in the armed forces as he traveled and had begun to understand the military way of life and their sacrifice. That understanding was driven home when he met his wife Debby in 1998. Debby's first husband was one of the Marines killed in the terrorist attack on our Marine BLT compound in Beirut Lebanon on Oct 23rd, 1983. Debby taught Eric a great deal about the depth of the military sacrifice. As Eric really began to understand the price for freedom paid daily by our military men and women, he decided to use his talents to begin honoring them as well as those who served our nation in years past. His first patriotic song writing effort came in September of 2001 and was entitled "We Will Stand". It became a hit all across America as our nation began to rebuild and heal after the terrorist attacks in New York City and Washington D.C. From there Eric began writing to honor many different veterans groups paying special attention to those who served our country in Vietnam. It wasn't long before the songs began to pour out his heart in abundance about our active military and the job they do. Eric currently performs on many of our military bases sharing songs of encouragement, motivation, and inspiration for our troops. He writes ...
