Ride or Die I love this film just for my boy Tawaski Mason for his new film, Ready To Die, hits the theaters in July the same day DPJH's Black Boys releases. In this movie, the Cash Money brothers trying to rule the whole city while they were selling crack in the hood. For the movie, Ready To Die is the most incredible film for the summer next to DPJH's Black Boys to hit millions in the box office to rule the whole weekend in 2008. Ready To Die was extremely outragious while in the movie, Tawaski Mason was turned notorious gangster in the nation when he first started in the career of music before his murder charge. It can take action in the film when Tawaski Mason runs the streets in the East Coast rap world where drugs took place everywhere in the hood. What will Tawaski Mason hold on to? This movie was a classic gangster film ever in the world for the film Ready To Die while Tawaski Mason ruled the world alongside his group to his latest hip-hop album, Lethal Injection, became big in 2008. The film, Ready To Die, was inspired by the album from The Notorious B.I.G.'s 1994 debut, Ready To Die, to become a movie for Tawaski Mason landmark summer film. This movie, New Jack City, was a classic film that I always love just like this classic film, 1995's Dead Presidents, was awesome. Thanks to the props! A.S.A.P.!!! 110th Street Is New Jack City I like this movie New Jack City because it reminds of Brotherly Love in Philly. I mean look at Wesley Snipes aka Nino Brown he make a lot of cash and guns I seen him having butt naked sex with this chickenhead redneck female Tracy Johns in the picture. All of the organization of Nino's crew should have more gangsterous styles to take over the movie and their casts as well. If I was in this picture few years back and the Latinos or Vietnamese trying to shoot me down, I'll blast them with an automatic shotgun blasts to the chest or only to the head to make a pool of blood of a die-hard real thug. As far as Chris Rock, he needs to be on Nino's side because he can get a lot more richer than the world itself. Being homeless makes you more stupid eating trash out of the garbages, building up boxes as your home in the alley. In fact, that is not the life of myself. I would be living my life as a millionaire superstar just like them Hollywood celebrities. At the end, Nino Brown should tuck his gat inside of his suit coat pocket just for protection. The old man going to shoot Nino in the courthouse in New York, all Nino should do is pull out his gat quickly to shoot the old man in the multiple times in the chest, so Nino doesn't have to worry about them perpetrators trying to take his shine away and be sentenced to Life without parole in prison. Crimes like that the nver get out, they stuck. Submitted by mjonest3 (Chicago IL.) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No This review is for a different format.

New Jack City DVD Just as cool and topical today as when it first opened, New Jack City stars Wesley Snipes as the angel-of-death crack kingpin who holds a city in his grasp. Ice T, Judd Nelson and Mario Van Peebles (who also directs) play police officers who lay it all on the line. Chris Rock and Vanessa Williams co-star. A dynamic cutting-edge soundtrack includes tunes by Ice T, Queen Latifah, 2 Live Crew and more.

Director Michael Schultz follows up his critically acclaimed and commercially successful COOLEY HIGH with this hilarious day-in-the-life tale set in modern day Los Angeles. At Sully Boyar's car wash, a juvenile, motley crew of city dwellers "work their fingers to the bone" waiting on the eccentric and sometimes haughty clientele. Throughout the day, the young men find time to indulge in personal pursuits: one fellow fantasizes about the pretty waitress working at a local restaurant, a militant preaches politics, while more disgruntled workers find a way to justify their laziness. As the day wears on, the many levels of oppression that control each individual's lives gradually ...

$7.95 Based on actual events, director John G. Avildsen's LEAN ON ME tells the story of Joe Clark (Morgan Freeman), a tough and radical disciplinarian hired to save the worst school in Paterson, New Jersey. Eastside High School is in trouble--the once exemplary school is now failing miserably. Graffitti lines the halls, gangs and drugs rule the school, and teachers and students live in perpetual fear. In one school year, Clark is challenged to turn the snake pit of a school into a halfway civilized place of learning, populated by decent students. To ...

$12.45 Terry Gilliam, the director of such fantasies as TIME BANDITS, BRAZIL, and THE ADVENTURES OF BARON MUNCHAUSEN, tells a very different kind of story in TIDELAND. Based on the novel by Mitch Cullin and cowritten by Gilliam and Tony Grisoni, TIDELAND follows young Jeliza-Rose (Jodelle Ferland), the daughter of Noah (Jeff Bridges), an aging, drug-addicted rock-and-roller, and Queen Gunhilda (Jennifer Tilly), a mean-spirited, drug-addicted chocoholic. After her mother overdoses, Jeliza-Rose and Noah move to his mother's home in the middle of nowhere, an abandoned wreck of a house. As Noah gets lost in one of his "vacations"--his drug trips, for which his daughter prepares the speedball--Jeliza-Rose becomes friends with an emotionally and physically challenged epileptic named Dickens (Brendan Fletcher), the brother of Dell (Janet McTeer), a terrifying witchlike woman who is deathly afraid of bees and has a penchant for taxidermy. Jeliza-Rose also falls farther into her own fantastical world, particularly with her doll heads Mustique, Sateen Lips, Glitter Gal, and Baby Blonde--one of which falls down a dark and narrow rabbit hole--and a mysterious talking squirrel that is trying to tell her something important. Part PSYCHO, part ALICE'S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND, Gilliam's challenging film also includes an eclectic soundtrack featuring original songs such as "Wash Me in the Blood of Jesus" and "Van Gogh in Hollywood" (the latter performed by Bridges as the leader of a heavy metal band), as well as an eerie set that echoes Andrew Wyeth's famous painting "Christina's World."
A young girl (Jodelle Ferland) lives in a terrifying and gruesome world. When her father (Jeff Bridges) takes her away ...
