 Incredible sonics
This is the fourth time this recording has been on cd. This is without question, the best I've heard. True 3 channel sound. I have not heard the XRCD version so I can not comment on that one. The bass is incredibly full and solid. There is more presence and separation with stunning realism. If you have this already from the previous issue, sell that copy and buy this new SACD remastering. It's worth it! Most listeners are already familiar with the recordings on this cd. The rhapsodies are played with incredible elan and flair that is unmatchable. Rush out and grab this one!

 75 Minutes of WOW!
Leopold Stokowski conducting the music of Liszt, Enesco, Smetana, and Wagner! Get a friend crank up the volume and be awed surprised and delighted as the RCA Victor Symphony Orchestra invades your space with an "in your face" presence, clarity, and dynamic range that you may have never before experienced. Now try convincing yourself and your friend that what you just heard was recorded 45 years ago. Amazing! Did I like it? I love it, you will too.

 wow and wow and wow
This sacd is truly wonderful. Under the leadmanship of Stokowsky all music becomes something extraordinary. Start with the majestic notes of Liszt's Hungarian rhapsody and end with Wagner. And don't forget smetana's moldau!
