Moonshower & Razorblades album
$21.85 "CIVILIZATIONS" is an Epic Space Opera created over 3 years, that takes you on a voyage across the universe and back. Played in various acts, Act.1 starts with the STARSHIP ANDROMEDA in SPACEDOCK, the Sun rays enveloping our world in EARTHRISE. The journey then begins as you move across the galaxy, past all the familiar planets, and enter the BLACKHOLE on the galaxies edge. Blasting through the INTERSTELLA highways you reach the other side, and the exploration of the wondrous BRAVE NEW WORLDS begins in Act 2. As you TOUCHDOWN on the surface of NEW CIVILIZATIONS the music takes you through a journey of mythical landscapes and imaginary TYPE 3 class planets. Act.3 ends back on Earth, inside the immense Astro-Dome, where races of all nations celebrate the ships return. "CIVILIZATIONS" ponders what lies beyond our TYPE ZERO class planet. What comes next? is this the END OF CIVILIZATION?----------------Originally from space, MIRAI ('Future Boy') is the founder of the neo-futurist network 'Intelligentsia' - its prime directive to bring together artists on the vanguard, with an amalgamation of innovative philosophy and positive future. Mirai spent his teens designing video games in the U.K, released over 10 titles from age 14 onwards, and then moved onto music, video & fashion during the growth of the rave culture, where he began to group in numerous members into his unit. His first gig was in Camden Palace, London in 91, and has done over 30 live events since then including the Interactive Live Show tour with P-Model (Warner), Yokohama sports stadium, Toucho Skyscraper, The Alfa festival & E.Live in the Netherlands & Emotions in Belgium. From '95 he relocated to Tokyo, writing soundtracks for Japanese video games, club mixes, TV & radio. Mirai has been a videogame character & model, co-hosted a 1 year EM radio show, written for 'Keyboard', has done various media spots and thru 10 years of Intelligentsia has teamed up with a motley bag of musicians and artists, always pushing against the status quo.In Japan he had a political party named after him, and was the first person to perform a techno live using a mobile phone. Mirai's recent work includes the global artist series 'WorldWideKind', Enix PS2 level designs, and interactive music for Morley Robertson (J-Wave Radio) & Yamaha techno Ringtones. He currently creates for Arvato Mobile Germany & Arkaos ...

| | Status Quo Dog Of Two Head CD (1971) Digipak; Re-Issue
Moonshower & Razorblades music CDs
$9.55 By their fifth album in 1971, British heavy rock outfit Status Quo had honed their sound to a simple but powerful formula of thundering riffs, compelling blues-rock melodies, and the occasional touch of pastoral wistfulness, evidenced in the recurring acoustic picker "Nanana" that appears three times almost as a palate-cleanser between the heavier numbers. Although they boasted neither a Page nor a Plant, the band could rock on their respective instruments, and the complex "Someone's Learning" indicates a facility for proto-metal songcraft.
The change was going on. In 1971, while Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, and Black Sabbath were competing to be considered the genuine pioneers of the hard rock genre, Status Quo was involved in an inner struggle to find themselves and their own sound. Nobody would have said then that a few years later, Francis Rossi, Rick Parfitt, Alan Lancaster, and John Coghlan would be fighting in the peak of European charts with the groups before mentioned. Dog of Two Head was going to be their first step, a very powerful one, in being considered a serious and significant rock band and not another easy-come, easy-go psychedelic group. This was their first record where the basic wall of sound formed by mighty guitar-bass-drums won the game to the more flavored sound of their beginnings. The band forsook psychedelic experimentation and delved into more blues-oriented rock ...

Moonshower & Razorblades CD music
$9.35 The Random Humans appear on the hip-hop scene with their September release of a self-titled three-song E.P. that gives a taste of what’s to come. Longview, Alberta native, Deception combines a steady flow to the beats provided by the talented beatsmith, Bear. Introductory performances following the release are scheduled in B.C. and Alberta from the end of September to the end of October 2009. Deception, with his quick wit and instinctual gift for spitting rhymes, developed a love for expression through music after seeing his first freestyle battle in 2002. Since cutting his teeth writing and experimenting with over 100 songs, Deception ...
