| Good swing jazz
Very virtuoso, sometimes too much. The melody dissapears in the technicality and virtuosity of too many notes. Still a good CD but I like more "Entre ciel et terre" and "come into my swing" from the same performers.

| A workmanlike rather than inspired session
Debarre and Beier are wonderful musicians and this is a good set. If you know nothing about Gypsy jazz, however, you may not understand from this CD just how exhilarating it can be. I'm not sorry I bought this because I love the genre and especially these two modernistas. Much more exciting is their album, Come Into My Swing. (The tunes that sparkle on Entre Amis are, not surprisingly, the Django Reinhardt compostitons.)
