| | Hilary Duff Most Wanted CD Hilary Duff Discography of CDs
'Most Wanted' is the ultimate collection of Hilary Duff favourites! The album includes the single 'Wake Up', one of four songs recorded exclusively for this collection and one of the three Duff co-wrote with Dead Executives (Good Charlotte's Joel and Benji Madden and Goldfinger singer/guitarist John Feldmann). This Australian exclusive edition includes the Aussie hits "Someone's Watching Over Me" and "Supergirl" which do not appear on the U.S. and U.K. equivalents.
A collection that combines previously unreleased songs with earlier tracks and remixes, MOST WANTED serves as a thumbnail sketch of Hilary Duff's 2003-2005 recording career. The three new songs here feature the charming singer pairing up with the Dead Executives production team, resulting in the techno-tinged "Wake Up," the upbeat "Beat of My Heart," and the rocked-out "Break My Heart," which sounds like Duff fronting the Foo Fighters. The rest of the disc presents cherry-picked tracks from her hugely successful first two albums (including the guitar-heavy "Metamorphosis" and the urgent "Fly") and the soundtrack for her 2004 film A CINDERELLA STORY, most notably an energetic rendition of the Go-Go's' "Our Lips Are Sealed." While the remixes don't depart much from the originals, they do give the tunes an added punch and make Duff's assertive and amiable vocals even more prominent. For those unfamiliar with Duff's undeniably catchy pop/rock sound, this is an excellent sampler of her best songs.
Personnel: Hilary Duff (vocals); Dead Executives (guitar, bass guitar); Dean Butterworth (drums); Monique Powell, Fruit (background vocals).

Purchase Most Wanted CD To buy, Click on price to add to cart | Paul Butterfield Blues Band CD (1965)
Most Wanted album
$6.19 The '60s Blues Revival begins here. Calling this album influential is an understatement akin to calling the Grand Canyon a rut; suffice to say that an entire generation of musicians (mostly young and white) heard this and had their lives changed forever. In fact, for at least a year after the album's release in 1965, it was impossible to walk down the hall of any college dorm in America without hearing one of the songs here echoing from somebody's room.
Heard today, the thing still packs a wallop. Butterfield's harmonica and vocals are utterly idiomatic, without a hint of minstrelsy. Michael Bloomfield's lead guitar is stinging and eloquent, ...
| | VH1 Presents The Corrs Live In Dublin CD (2002)
Most Wanted CD music
$6.39 This audio document of The Corrs' Dublin homecoming concert has pretty much everything fans of Irish pop could wish for, including an appearance from Bono in his earthly incarnation, fresh from an audience with President George W. Bush. It's to the band's credit that the charismatic singer fails to steal the show, despite creditable efforts via an anthemized version of Ryan Adams' beautifully downtempo "When the Stars Go Blue," and a great, leering rendition of Lee Hazlewood and Nancy Sinatra's "Summer Wine."
Somewhat more mysteriously, Rolling Stone Ron Wood also turns up on what sounds dangerously close to a lounge version of Jimi Hendrix's "Little Wing," but this minor faux pas is redeemed by the Irish folk medley "Joy of Life/Trout in the Bath" which arguably features more full-on Irishness than the Dublin production of RIVERDANCE. There's also ...
| | Drive-By Truckers Southern Rock Opera CDs (2001) Digipak
Most Wanted music CDs
$11.99 A sprawling two-disc set, the Drive-By Truckers' SOUTHERN ROCK OPERA is a cracked masterpiece that's enjoyable on several different levels. Hipsters might enjoy the giggly premise of a two-disc set devoted to a slightly altered retelling of the rise and fall of 1970s Southern rock icons Lynyrd Skynyrd. Progressive rock fans lamenting the modern era's relative lack of story-driven albums divided into "Act I" and "Act II" will latch onto SOUTHERN ROCK OPERA with the same passion with which they embraced THE LAMB LIES DOWN ON BROADWAY. And most importantly, unreconstructed Southern rockers of the boogie-and-beer variety will appreciate the fact that this is an unapologetic, non-ironic valentine to the sound of not only Skynyrd, but the Allman Brothers, ...
| | Antony I Am A Bird Now CD (2005)
Most Wanted songs
$12.49 Though he probably achieved his greatest mainstream recognition backing up Lou Reed on tour, idiosyncratic songbird Antony is a fully established artiste in his own right. Backed by the Johnsons, as on I AM A BIRD NOW, he crafts delicate ballads that skirt the lines between cabaret, artsong, and pop, with the kind of voice that Stephin Merritt would probably kill for. Antony's unique pipes bring to mind an androgynous Bryan Ferry or a high, quavery summit meeting between Jimmy Scott (another Reed supporter) and Aaron Neville. The stately, graceful, largely piano-driven songs on I AM A BIRD NOW are full of honest, uncluttered emotion, but never go over the top. The communication is direct and immediate, as wisps of melancholy settle around the listener. Guest shots by kindred spirits Rufus Wainwright, Devendra Banhart, and Reed himself vary the tone a bit, but the fragile beauty of this album ...
| | Dredg Catch Without Arms CD (2005)
Most Wanted album
$8.49 Early on, critics often described Dredg as a metal group. However, the quartet has since matured into a hard-edged indie-rock ensemble that seeks diversity and refinement in its music. On CATCH WITHOUT ARMS, the band favors highly orchestrated parts, dense guitar riffs, and powerful drumming. Each song is based around memorable vocal hooks and sensitive lyrical content.
Many tracks on CATCH WITHOUT ARMS have a searching quality to them. Despite the sheer force of the music, this release is ultimately marked by well constructed melodies and intriguing harmonic underpinnings. This is due in part to singer Gavin ...
| | Lindsay Lohan Little More Personal (Raw) CD (2005)
Most Wanted CD music
$13.79 Many of the songs here are openly confessional. The album's first single, for example, "Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)," addresses the singer's well-publicized family issues, while other tunes, like "I Live ...
