The name of Andrew Lloyd Webber is one of the best-known in the world. The jewel in his musical crown is undoubtedly "Phantom Of The Opera", a show which has been running non-stop in London since it opened in 1986. From the moment he began work on "Phantom Of The Opera", Andrew Lloyd Webber had wanted to write a concert piece for violin and cello which would mirror the story, the violin taking the role of Christine Daae, the cello playing the Phantom. "Phantasia" is the resulting work. This virtuoso concerto, arranged by Geoff Alexander and Simon Lee, is performed by Sarah Chang and Andrew's brother Julian Lloyd Webber. The album also includes a suite from the smash-hit musical "The Woman in White". Phantasia - The Woman In White Suite / Webber, Chang Music Phantasia - The Woman In White Suite / Webber, Chang Review

Fame can be a fleeting mistress, and nowhere more so than in the land of dance-pop divas. Many are lucky enough to have a hit album, much less two or three.
