 Excellent!
If you absolutely want the original mono mixes this is not the album for you! Buy the Hitsville USA box instead. But if want excellent sounding sometimes slightly longer)stereo versions this is the box to buy! By the way: The Four Tops "It´s The Same Old Song" IS included!

 Excellent
This box set has every song you can remember from the Motown sound days,clear and strong, not like your old AM radio where you first heard them. These are full recordings, a little extra on the beginning and on the end of most...not cut off for radio play. This box set is HEAVEN!

 all in one set
Its very rare to find a CD where you actually know and like every song.......well this CD set has that . I knew every song and the quality of sound is excellent. Highly reccomended!!

 Motown Box Set
Since I am an avid Fan of Motown, I couldn't wait to get this version of songs after watching "Motown, The Early Years" on PBS. Included in this box set is some gems namely Stevie Wonder's "Purple Raindrops" in which I haven't heard since the 60's. I love the extended versions of these hits as well and some of the stereo versions as well. A must to have.

 Well Worth Every Penny!
I must say that I was pleasantly surprised on my first listen of this set. Even though there's really nothing "rare" included here, the new mixes to many of the often-heard songs of classic Motown sound absolutely fantastic! Tom Moulton did a did a superb job. I highly recommend that all lovers of Motown get this set...you won't be disappointed!!
