Yngwie J. Malmsteen's Rising Force: Yngwie Malmsteen (vocals, guitar); Dougie White (vocals); Joakim Svalberg (keyboards); Patrick Johansson (drums).
In 2002, guitar acrobatic extraordinaire Yngwie Malmsteen was aboard an airplane in Japan and received the surprise of his life. As folklore goes, Malmsteen allegedly made offensive comments regarding homosexuality. A fellow passenger took offense to the comment and proceeded to throw a glass of water on Malmsteen. This sent his temper into a rising force and began a legendary tirade that catapulted Malmsteen back into the heavy metal spotlight for one last time. Amid the fracas Malmsteen launched a verbal spat on the passenger with the phrase "you've unleashed the f*cking fury" being atop the most quotable of moments. Fast forward three years and Malmsteen is still milking this incident for all it's worth, bringing into question whether or not this event was actually staged in order to sustain his career. Conspiracy theories aside, Malmsteen and company basically run the same plays on Unleash the Fury that they do with every other album. There's no denying Malmsteen's virtuosity on guitar, making runs up and down the guitar neck that even the most accomplished guitarist would find troubling at half-speed. But when the vocalist makes his appearance, then things become awkward and irksome. Taking more than contributing, the lyrics and vocal stylings hinder the sole reason for purchasing this record: to listen to the guy make the guitar melt in the palm of his hand. I really don't know why people don't like this album. The production could have been better the tracks sound lame is certain verses , but the solos and the songs are up to yngwie's standards. His solos are more focused and soulfull. I am nt a guitarist , i am a drummer . If all you can do is complain about his music , you pick up a '62 strat and shred with the virtuosity he posesses.

 I'm sorry, but this album has nothing new
I'm sorry for the 2 stars, but this album has nothing to say. I have all Malmsteen Albums, there's a lot of masterpiece, not the last one (maybe the last 2 albums). Techinically supremo, but artistically poor.

 great amazing lead guitar
hey great men Ingwie is the best lead guitar on the world. I liked the riffs transpoting with the classic guitar, if vivaldi lived my be sufer heart attack, Ingwie is the best,the drums 10 stars for the drummer great musician

same old thing
Been an yngwie fan since the very first album,but it's time for me to move on.Yngwie just keeps writing the same songs over and over again.This album is the same as the last 10 albums.

Another snooze fest from Yngwie. I'm a big fan but I have not liked his past few releases. Actually, I haven't liked anything since Facing The Animal. One of my main problems is production - muddy, lacking clarity and punch. The production is so bad, I find it very hard to listen to this CD. He shouldn't be producing his own material. He need a real producer. The songs on this CD do nothing for me at all. More of the same. The only thing I like about the CD is the packaging - very cool. Otherwise, zzzzzzzz...
