As war looms on the horizon, the mighty Archadian Empire begins a campaign to subjugate its neighbors. To Vaan, a young man living on the streets of Rabanastre, the Empire is a hated enemy who took the life of his brother. Planning on exacting revenge by breaking into the palace, Vaan gets more than he bargained for as he runs into Princess Ashe, the sole surviving heir to the Dalmascan throne. Together, the two embark on an incredible journey tracing the mysteries behind the Archadian Empire's invasion.Once again taking RPG players beyond imagination, the twelfth Final Fantasy's gameplay features include the Active Dimension Battle system enabling players to move seamlessly between exploration and combat. Characters act according to an intricate "gambit" system of actions and reactions that you determine. As they fight, characters earn license points that can be spent to broaden their knowledge of magic, arms and armor. Final Fantasy XII Games Review Average Rating: (4.5 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews Fun and Entertaining I was not to keen on prior battle engines of Final Fantasy. With this one, I enjoy the battle engine used much more. I like the story line, the puzzles, the whole RPG experience. I am def. going to get the guide to help me out. But it is really fun to explore the game environment. The movies are excellent to watch as well. I've only played for a week on a rental game, but now plan to own. Plays great on the PS3 using the Memory Card Configurator. Just wish this was multiplayer - that would make it more fun to go on adventures with friends. The best FF ever. The game have a good style of gameplay somewhat like Vagrant Story of PSX but it's more advanced with the graphics of the stages it look very cool there is a lot of places to explore that mean you 'll be playing for hours it's fun you have to buy it. more side quests than main story line i gotta be honest this game is the best game ive played in a while but theres alot more side quests than there is on the main story line and the game is easy to beat even with low leveled characters but its still a great game! Great game but .... This game is great from any aspect.Cool gameplay, great details for equipment. But some of the character coloring tech is somewhat a failure. Especially for Vaan. The coloring is not too good. I hope Square repair this errors for the next gen game.

Features New Active Dimension Battle system transfers players from exploration to battle seamlessly Customize characters using the License Board New cut-scenes for the American version of the game Gambit system allows players to control any character during battle Features many weapons, enemies, and spells from Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy XI, the previous games set in the world of Ivalice Final Fantasy XII Hints I might have overdone this, but it sure works with minimal time and effort. First equip everyone with spears, barbuts, iron armor and argyle armlets. This will give you maximum power/speed ratio. If you do not have the money nor LP to do this, go just west of the Sandsea Moogle in the the Sanscale Bank and you will find enemies called Alraune. Kill them all, go back to to the moogle and 1 screen east. This makes the monsters respawn and takes a little time, go back and kill them again. Steal succullent fruits and maces from them (set gambit) and they also drop succulent fruits very often. The maces sell at 900 gold but these fruits sell at 363 each and you can quickly build up 99 of of the fruits since you ccan respawn them quickly. If you want to keep the combo up, when you have 99 succulent fruits, flee all the way back to the merchant without touching a save crystal, sell them all for 35,937 gold, flee all the way back to the Alraunes and repeat the process as needed. Set all gambits to attack nearest and heal manually. Start with the people that do not have quickenings in case they get ejected from battle (with a little luck it will be Vossler) And use all quickenings at the end if needed. For higher level characters, just attack and you should even have time to steal. All my guys were level 17 –
