Tommy Emmanuel - Live At Sheldon Concert Hall Movie Review Average Rating: (5 out of 5 stars) The most amazing guitarist you've never heard of I happened to catch Tommy performing late one night on a PBS station in Denver as I was travelling, and though I've been a musician over 30 years I had never heard of him.
To say he is incredible is a supreme understatement. Submitted by lswinford (Frisco, TX USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Stunning Performance As a musician who grew up surrounded with mucisians playing everything from the mandolin to the accordian, I concur with Chet that this dude is simply one of the best, if not THE best!
Tommy's guitar playing is absolutely stunning, and this DVD shows him in fine form. I never thought I'd ever hear a better version of Guitar Boogie, but I salute this version by Tommy! Submitted by luniel (Seattle, WA, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Tommy Emmanuel - Live At Sheldon Concert Hall video
$15.15 This collection of tracks by pop singer, Billy Vaughn, features such trademark songs as "La Paloma", "Lili Marleen", and "Blue Hawaii".
Studio orchestra leader Billy Vaughn may have been even more popular in Germany in the 1950s and '60s than he was in the U.S., which helps explain why the most comprehensive compilation of his work originates there. This two-CD, 50-track album of original Dot Records recordings contains 20 of Vaughn's 28 Billboard Hot 100 chart entries, including the major U.S. hits "Melody of Love," "The Shifting Whispering Sands," "Sail Along Silvery Moon" and "Raunchy." Then there are songs that topped the German charts, like "Wheels" and "La Paloma." The set has a definite German tilt, with such titles as "Zwei Gitarren Am Meer and "Unter Dem ...

Tommy Emmanuel - Live At Sheldon Concert Hall DVD
$10.55 Fed up with her boyfriend (Michael Madsen), live-wire Arkansas waitress Louise Sawyer (Susan Sarandon) persuades her friend Thelma Dickinson (Geena Davis), a naive housewife burdened with a negligent, sexist husband (Christopher McDonald), to hit the road with her for a weekend of freedom. One of their first stops is a bar where the women relax, dance, and flirt with some of the locals. But the situation turns ugly when one man (Timothy Carhart) follows Thelma to the parking lot and attempts to rape her, causing Louise to shoot and accidentally kill him. Convinced that the police will never believe their version of the incident, the women take off, now fugitives from the law. Emboldened by recent events, Thelma picks up studly young cowboy J.D.
