On July 11, 2004, over 200,000 spectators filled the downtown streets of Montreal to take part in a one-night-only special event to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Cirque du Soleil and the 25th anniversary of the Montreal International Jazz Festival. In a remote Alaskan town called Nightmute, the murder of a teenage girl has shocked the tight-knit community.
