| Kill A Celebrity Music Review Average Rating: (3.8 out of 5 stars) This my favorite music! "Theres so much more to say!"
This cd will open your eyes to the terrible things going on in this world and try its about coping with society and embracing the little bit of humanity we have left.
White Trash Rob did it again made a masterpiece that is as good or better than Outlaw Anthems -2002 release. I suggest getting this and Sinners and Saints - The Sky is Falling. Submitted by Matthew AmoralPhat40oz (Mansfield, Ohio!) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 1 of 1 found this helpful.
Pretty Good Kill a Celebrity is a very good CD but.... no where as good as the first cd when it was white trash rob and Jake Bannon from Converge. But that aside its good, especially, of course, the title song Kill a Celebrity and Just Walk Away are amazing. Submitted by Darkestwell (Tallanasty, FL) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
well goddamn.... the first 4-5 tracks are nothing short of brutal, the tracks kill a celebrity and days of revenge are some he most pissed off lyrics i've ever heard, now the cd does begin to lag in the later tracks, where a weird sense of pop rock rears it's ugly head but i do believe it is meant to be sarcastic, but it is still pretty hard to listen to, however the tracks in the beginning are what this cd is all about Submitted by james (FL, USA) Was This Review Helpful? For a fan of the Anti-MTV culture! Real music for real people! This is a cd that your normal cd retailer is affraid to sell. If your affraid of the real world of truth, then go back to your pop culture of and avoid this cd at all costs. When I heard this cd for the first time I punched the Cat!!! Kill a celebrity! | | Ramallah But A Whimper CD (2002)
Kill A Celebrity CD music
$10.39 Anyone who thinks that all hardcore sounds the shame should spend a little bit of time with the debut effort from Ramallah. (And "little" is literal here -- in true hardcore style, this album's nine tracks clock in at a total of just under 14 minutes.) Consisting basically of former Blood for Blood frontman Rob Lind, who is joined on drums by Neil Dyke but plays everything else himself, Ramallah is unusually specific in its primary lyrical concerns, though Lind is a bit coy about naming names. It doesn't take much to figure out what he's getting at, though, what with his band name, song titles like "Ramallah" and "Al Shifa," and references to the U.S. attack on Khartoum in 1998. Lind gets kudos for guts, even if his choice of sympathies will seem a bit strange to some. Musically, though, there's ...

Kill A Celebrity songs
$8.55 Metallic and maniacal as they wanna be on firestarters like "Purify" and "Down for the Core," the Los Angeles-based hardcore revivalists known as Donnybrook pay homage to New York's muscular hardcore troupe Madball on the incendiary Lions in This Game. Frontman ...
| | Hoods King Is Dead CD (2005)
Kill A Celebrity album
$9.69 Sacramento's Hoods are hardcore purists fighting what some may deem a losing battle in a hostile metalcore universe; but with ten years of experience under their belts, and the latter movement's mid-2000s supremacy still some distance from transcending fad status, just who will have the last laugh? No question about that if you ask guitarist and songwriter Mike Hood, who really says it all with the first few couplets of this album's title track: "You thought that you would break us, you'll ...

| | As Ugly As It Gets: The Very Best Of Ugly Kid Joe CD (1998)
Kill A Celebrity music CDs
$8.15 Over the course of three albums and an EP, Ugly Kid Joe managed to parlay their pronounced Guns N' Roses fixation into something of a career. On their best songs -- "Everything About You," "Neighbour," and "Milkman's Son" -- they blended cartoon rebellion and a sense of humor best described as pre-adolescent into powerhouse singles full of tasteless good fun. Perfect for that time of life when all one wants to do is go around breaking things. Though routinely flagged as a hair band, their twin-guitar attack and fondness for funky, bottom-end heavy riffing also places Ugly Kid Joe among the forefathers of the late-'90s rap-metal explosion. As Ugly as They Wanna Be showcases the band in all their juvenile glory -- from their surprise hit version of Harry Chapin's "Cat's in the Cradle" to their tight cover of Black Sabbath's "NIB" to "Busybee" -- pretty much the best Guns N' Roses song Guns N' Roses never recorded -- all the hits are here, present and accounted for. If only this compilation didn't completely ignore ...

| | Charlie Byrd Great Guitars Live CDs (2001)
Kill A Celebrity album
$15.29 Recorded live at "Vontage Sounds," Saratoga, California in July 1980 and Charlie's Georgetown, Wahington, D.C. on August 14, 1982. Includes original release liner notes by Vern Hansen & Felix Grant.
Herb Ellis, Barney Kessel, and Charlie Byrd made five recordings under the banner Great Guitars for Concord between 1976 and 1982; this two-CD set combines both of their concert performances. With bassist Joe Byrd and either Jimmie Smith or Chuck Redd on drums, the guitarists complement one another's playing throughout both shows, with the two former Oscar Peterson sidemen on electric guitar and Byrd sticking to acoustic guitar. They primarily stick to standards of the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s during the 1980 set taped at the Paul Masson Mountain Winery. Byrd, best known for helping to launch the bossa nova craze during the early '60s, shines in the extended workout of Antonio Carlos Jobim's "So Danço Samba" and a solo performance of "You Took Advantage of Me." Ellis and Kessel are unaccompanied in an introspective take of "Body and Soul." The second disc comes from a 1982 concert at Charlie's Georgetown in Washington, D.C., and features a more wide-ranging program. Starting with a breezy take of "Where or When," the guitarists are in top form. Their very deliberate introduction to Hoagy Carmichael's "New Orleans" milks the song's ...
