"Execution" is a sound experience. An album that mixes the best of Metal with strength, melody and the talent of the most respected musicians in the scene, playing nine songs written by Tribuzy and a cover ("Nature Of Evil", from the german band Sinner). The musical influence basically used by Tribuzy during the writing process was the greatness of classics such as Painkiller (Judas Priest), Keeper of the Seven Keys (Helloween) and other of the 80's heavy music with a little bit of New Metal and Brazilian rhythms. The production was done by Tribuzy, with the help of some of the most experienced music producers, such as Achim Koehler, Roy Z and Dennis Ward.

Execution Music Review Average Rating: (4.5 out of 5 stars) Classic Metal is Back! Man, how did this one get past me...Dickinson, Scheepers & now a new screamer to sing along with. This CD rocks! Submitted by GMan (Jersey) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Old School Metal with a modern twist!! Wow, this album kicks from the opening track Execution. Some of the tracks have that "Keeper" sound to them with out some of the silliness. The production is the modern sound I mentioned before. this is old school metal. The guitar playing is outstanding. Kiske's vocals on Absolution are amazing to bad he won't "sing" metal anymore. Tribuzy can hold his own with the guests too. Check out Beast in the Light. Bruce Dickinson is the best vocalist in Metal today. The track is worth the ablum cost alone. Pick it up if you love metal. Submitted by Scott_Wilson (Boston MA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Strong heavy metal album with Dickinson & Kiske All in all a strong heavy-power metal album, with a lot of 80's influences fused together with Brazilian rhythms and some progressive ideas as well.
To be totally honest I'm not a big fan of Renato Tribuzy's (lead vocalists) voice, which is a raw mixture of Ralf Scheepers and Bruce Dickinson, but thinner, not so clear and more aggressive. What really impressed me in this album was the powerful songwriting, the clean production and most of all the guest appearances of Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden, solo) and Michael Kiske (ex-Helloween, solo, Avantasia, Place Vendome)!
In my opinion the strongest tracks of the album are `The Beast In The Light', sang by Dickinson and `Absolution', sang by Kiske. The main reason for this is the fact that the songs fit both voices perfectly, the other reason being that both singers give an outstanding performance. These 2 tracks also stand out because both Dickinson and Kiske are some of the best vocalists in the metal genre and as a result their voices really make a difference when compared to the relative amateur Renato Tribuzy.
`Beast In The Light' is a modern heavy metal anthem which is reminiscent of Dickinsons new album (Tyranny of Souls) and could easily fit in that record. Bruce is at his usual best vocally and as Tribuzy puts an edge to his voice the song comes out really great and catchy. The mixture of a strong rhythm, a great chorus and a nice guitar solo make this the second best track of Execution.
`Absolution' is the epic track of the album exciding 9 minutes of playing time. The song is filled with tempo-time changes and contains a mixture of Brazillian rhythms in the balladry intro, a mid tempo heavy metal middle part and a power metal climax towards the end! Michael Kiske really amazes here with his clean and emotional delivery, while achieving to show off his lower, middle and high ranges due to the many tempo changes. Also Roland Grapow contributes one of the best guitar solos of the record backed by strong reefing and great drumming. In my book Absolution is the best track of the album and together with Beast In the Light is worth the price of the record. Submitted by John (Greece) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
amazing Wow, this album is a stunner...one of the best surprises of the year. I hadn't heard of Renato Tribuzy prior to hearing this debut effort, but I imagine he'll be quite well known in the near future if he keeps writing outstanding metal as this...nice melodies, razor-sharp riffs, great song structures and breakdowns/interludes...this album has it all, including a slew of top-notch guests. Pick up this album or regret it Submitted by Nate (Michigan, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Execution album
$6.49 Possessing metal pipes like few before him, leonine Steelheart yelper Michael Matijevic scarred the airwaves forever when he hammered the simply unmatchable chorus of the hairball "I'll Never Let You Go": ludicrous and sublime, akin to Whitney Houston hitting the hot spot in "I Will Always Love You." The opening strands of "Everybody Loves Eileen" bring Ratt out of the cellar before the cut curls into a pop n' fresh roller coaster ride. The remainders on this ridiculous dish are also overlong examples of excess but not as memorable, paying homage to Whitesnake ...

$10.35 An all-star aggregation similar in conception to Ayreon, Avantasia's The Metal Opera naturally spotlights its creator, Tobias Sammet, who wrote all the music and the involved fantasy storyline over the course of a year as a side project from his main gig with the German power metal band Edguy. Though Sammet's vocals play a major role, he recruited some of his power metal contemporaries to sing the parts of different characters in the story, tailoring his casting choices -- elves, dwarves, Druids, ...
