Standard Screen; Soundtrack English The first band signed to Korn's Elementree label, Orgy rose to prominence carrying the torch for bands like Marilyn Manson and Nine Inch Nails. As such, the group dutifully presents quite a spectacle, with a heavily made-up, androgynous look to complement their pounding, infectious music made up of a heavily-processed blend of abrasive rhythms and catchy melodies. This documentary combines a great deal of home-video footage, shot by the band members themselves as they recorded their 1998 debut, CANDYASS, at a remote cabin near Lake Tahoe. Viewers will be party to the band members' antics, as they drink, party, and sometimes actually get work done. The unfolding of the creative process is fascinating, and audience members have their say as well (one woman gushes: "I'm in love! That was the best show I've ever seen!"). Live performances of songs from both CANDYASS and VAPOR TRANSMISSION are presented, as well as a number of music videos.
