$9.59 A horror-comedy in the vein of GINGER SNAPS, SATAN'S LITTLE HELPER tells the story of a quiet suburban town overtaken by evil. Director Jeff Lieberman, long a cult director of the underground horror circuit, takes the chair in the production of this quirky tale of nine-year old boy Douglas (Alexander Brickel), who runs into a serial killer while trick or treating. Unfortunately for Douglas, the serial killer is dressed up like a "character" in his favorite video game, Satan's Little Helper. Douglas will do anything to help his virtual hero, and soon finds himself acting as an assistant in the brutal murder of his own family! A film that will induce grimaces and laughs in equal measure, SATAN'S LITTLE HELPER features a memorable ...

Ghost Stories - Vol. 2 review
$13.59 While chasing a criminal named Rolex (Melvin Wong), Agent 999 (Tsui Siu-keung) stumbles upon an even greater evil--a primitive, impoverished village that has resorted to cannibalism. An expert at kung fu, Agent 999 must decide whether he will join his old foe in fighting off the hordes of crazed, masked peasants. WE ARE GOING TO EAT YOU is director Tsui Hark's second film, following his debut, BUTTERFLY MURDERS, which also explores the horror genre. Without the budget for complicated special effects, WE ARE GOING TO EAT YOU relies on energetic editing (a Hark trademark) and gross-out scenes to move the story along. The gore has a campiness that will appeal to the most bloodthirsty fans of slasher films--in one scene a man is sawed in two, while in another a beating heart is ripped from a man's chest. Comedic elements are added in the characters of a bumbling thief and a cross-dressing male with a voracious sexual appetite. Hark would later return to the horror genre by producing A CHINESE GHOST STORY and directing GREEN SNAKE.
Agent 999 ...

Ghost Stories - Vol. 2 DVD
$9.99 Former porn director Gregory Dark's contemporary B-movie gorefest has all the necessary trappings to leave genre fans satisfied, and others slightly nauseous. The scene is set when a group of juvenile delinquents arrive at a roach-infested ruin of a hotel, where they have agreed to work in exchange for lighter sentences. They are led by a cop who lost his hand four years ago in a struggle with a brutal serial killer whom he killed with a bullet to the head--or so he thought. Now, the very same hulking monster, played by WWE wrestler Kane, haunts the halls of the dilapidated hotel, and with no further adieu begins picking ...

$5.79 Horror legend Boris Karloff and a young Jack Nicholson team up in this disjointed but enjoyable Roger Corman quickie. Nicholson plays Lieutenant Andre Duvalier, an officer under Napoleon who finds himself lost along a stretch of beach, where he is seduced by the beautiful Helene (Sandra Knight), who may or may not be a ghost. His obsession leads him to the gloomy castle of Baron Von Leppe (Karloff), a recluse haunted by the ghost of his dead wife, Ilse, who Andre suspects is actually Helene, or vice versa. Longtime Corman regular Dick Miller plays Stefan, Von Leppe's trusty servant, and Dorothy Neumann is a witch who may be using Helene as a tool for revenge. All the characters do lots of skulking around the gloomy sets and ...
