| a film with plenty of creepy atmosphere
i first saw this film in the 1940's. i still rate it as one of the best gothic films that i have ever seen.

| Not for ailing hearts!!
People who suffer from heart ailment shouldn't watch this film, but for all the others its a trip to horror and tension.

| Edge of your seat gothic thriller!
Spiral Staircase film This wonderful movie is available at last on DVD. This mystery keeps you guessing until the last moments. Beautifully photographed. I have always thought of the Anchor Bay label as a budget low quality label--but not so here! You couldn't ask for a better quality product.
