In 1993 Kevin Walton had, had enough of playing gigs in clubs pubs and bars that only catered for cover bands. Although some of his original songs were squeezed into the sets and went over great, it still wasn’t enough. With a growing collection of original material, he knew the time had come for change. It all seemed to fall into place with ease. He met a new group of musicians and within no time was writing and recording his first album. Kevin Walton, ”Indian” 1994 it proved to be an underground hit. Playing live had people asking when they would hear him on the radio and see him on the TV. That’s where the record companies come in; they would say how great the whole package was, but would never commit to anything. so a second album was recorded. Kevin Walton, ”Badluck avenue” 1998 with the track "I will follow you" making its way onto the "David Letterman show" in the US with a viewing audience of 50 million people. Kevin kept on writing and recording, still sending his works off. Until "The Massive Recording Company" in Sydney, Australia, contacted saying, they couldn’t believe that his material had not been picked up by anyone. Wasting no time, they released the single "summertime” by “BOWE” 1999. Kevin felt a name change could help. It started to get airplay on the east coast of Australia, but without a major push it didn’t quite grab. Massive said another single would follow, then an album.
