Routinely described as "quirky," and "zany," They Might Be Giants have always seemed like self-consciously intellectual adults trying their darndest to hold on to childhood. The pianist Vince Guaraldi's scores for the PEANUTS animated features added immeasurably to the utter charm and ultimate success of those TV productions.
