A REAL LIVE ONE was released a few months after it's counterpart, A REAL DEAD ONE. While the former contains long-forgotten early favorites, the latter is made up of later hits. While the band doesn't sound as electrified as it does on its 1985 live set, LIVE AFTER DEATH, longtime fans will get a kick out of hearing such early nuggets as "Prowler," "Transylvania," "Remember Tomorrow," "Where Eagles Dare," "Sanctuary," "Iron Maiden," and "Hallowed ...

Kaizoku-Ban music CDs
$20.29 Praise for "Songs for the Journey": Reviews"Corrick's debut release marks her as a contender of unlimited potential. Strong and tender, her clear, pure vocals and expressive acoustic music weave a tapestry of spiritual insight and heartfelt comfort through life's light and dark moments. The beautiful energy transmitted through the 11 tracks is quietly but profoundly healing. Our album of the month. (The New Times)"Wendy Corrick has a rich, strong voice that she uses to express a deeply felt spiritual connection. She sings of an inner journey taken to discover the true self, beginning a life of never-ending transformation...A highly inspirational, powerful CD, very peaceful. Jeanette Housner (Victory Music Review) Praise for "Songs for the Journey": Listeners"You are now part of my morning ritual for greeting the day. With coffee in hand, I curl up on the sofa in my studio where I can watch the morning sun rise. I play your music and allow the enchantment to carry me to far off places. Whatever lies in my thoughts that need to be healed, forgiven, or inspired for the day is deeply touched by your voice and mystical sound. Your songs lift me to new heights, and I feel more spiritually centered. Thank you for this gift."Deborah (Sudbury, MA)"I've listened and listened to your new CD and enjoy it thoroughly. I thought I would be using it while painting but found that I want to stop and listen to the music and words. The words and music are inspiriting and I am glad to have found you. In my humble opinion, I find you more comforting than Enya. You are a success! Please put me down on your mailing list for a the next CD. Yes, this is the price of success...people want more of you. Congratulations!"Betty (Bothell, WA)"I received your CD yesterday and listened to it this morning. It is wonderful. What a beautiful tribute to your journey. I love the sound of your voice and the lyrics you have put to the music. What a wonderful gift you give to people. I wish you great journeys ahead...."Marie (Nokesville, VA)Wow! Your CD is moving, inspirational, and beautiful!! It's beautifully produced and your voice sounds FANTASTIC. I've listened to it a couple of times through already. A few of the tunes get me weeping every time (makes it hard when I'm driving to work!). Len (Silver Spring, MD)Mystics, if you haven't yet ordered Wendy's CD, do yourself a favor and order it right now. Your hearts will thank you! It is joy.Tina (Tiberon, CA)The CD is lovely, warm and tender-- as you are--and ...

| | Brian Patterson Seventh Kind CD (2007)
Kaizoku-Ban album
$12.15 Peace by Piece : I was in the middle of two fusion cd's when I was working on the Seventh Kind, I was real picky about how all the songs would fit together, and I was looking for a song that had high energy and that blew the listener away for a opener... When I started working on Peace by Piece, I only had a four track tape recorder, (Tascam 424) and I was experimenting with writting in sections, (that is where it got it's name). I went out and purchased the DMT 8 track recorder, (shortly after they came out.) I also purchased DAT machine so I kept the digital quality. I thought this song had the right ingredients, ( I wasn't looking for typical music but music that expressed many different aspects of my talent.)Freedom Won: This song is kida of a Joe Satriani meats latin jazz guitarist with a pop style drums and bass. Origional was recorded on my four track.Hope: A favorite of many: When I came up with Hope I was feeling depressed, because a friend realy had let me down. Hope is a powerful piece that has some classical, heavy bass with a powerful kick drum, many layers of instruments (many guitars and bass) all have their own life but come to gether in a harmonious way that creates this some what of a master piece. Starts out with a guitar and drums but builds up to a orchistra of parts, middle (classical section) does the same thing where it starts out with a clean guitar, then bass and melodies, and keeps with the same flavor as the main theams the ending leaves you up lifted, has a Irish influenced lead solo...... considering all different parts, layers of complicity, it really just came to me with little effort. Trial & Triumph: One of my tuffest pieces (espeacially for the time I wrote) origionally recorded four track. but when I went redo it on my digital recorder I realized that it was missing something so I added keys ( actually the GR 09 Guitar synth ) wich I think added an increddible demension to it.Athem: This is my show stopper, as far as my progressive rock go's..and high lights the keyest, though (was actually the GR 09 synth) though you don't hear any keys for the first two minutes because they are all in the middle sections. The first section is defenatly Steve Morse influenced, and a large part of the middle section is Dream Theater influenced. Revelations: I love the opening of this song, it takes few seconds before the lead comes in.( I do not use any whammy pedal as some well acomplished players have thought ) it is strictly slides and whammy bar. Though on the recording I have a harmony guitar come in that plays an octive higher, live I play both ...
