| | Anthrax Among The Living CDs (1987) With DVD; Bonus Tracks; Remastered
Chit-Tak!
$21.94 When Anthrax released AMONG THE LIVING in 1987, the band was a part of a then-burgeoning heavy metal sub-genre called speed or thrash metal. This was an inversion of glam metal. The band members wore worn-out jeans and T-shirts, their long hair was hairspray-free, and not a smudge of make-up was applied to their unsightly mugs. Their music was dense, borrowing speed from punk and hardcore and mammoth guitar riffing from metal, and featured thought-provoking lyrics. AMONG THE LIVING not only served as Anthrax's commercial breakthrough, but (along with seminal releases by Metallica, Megadeth, and Slayer) the album brought this new musical form to the forefront.
The members of Anthrax were a bunch of comic-book-reading, ...

$6.75 Recorded between 1983 & 1996. Includes liner notes by Davil Wild.
Cyndi Lauper is a textbook example of F. Scott Fitzgerald's famous dictum "There are no second acts in American lives." The pixieish singer had a few hits after her late mid-1980s domination of the country's popular imagination, and has continued to release fine, mature pop albums all along. Yet her public image is so frozen in stone as that "unusual" girl who sang "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" and "Time After Time" that many people have never been able to entirely move past the old multicolored- hair/thrift-shop-clothes ...

She has also shared the stage with blues masters Rory Block, and Paul Geremia, as well as jazz trumpeter Lou Colombo and song stylist, guitarist Patty Larkin. With her band, Ms. Wallace opened concerts for Roomful of Blues, Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters, Jerry Portnoy and The Eddie Higgins Band. Judy has produced three recordings, two with the Judy Wallace Group, and her most recent recording with husband David Gries. Strongly influenced by grammy winner Lucinda Williams, a musician Judy met in the San Francisco Bay area back in the early 70's, Judy is a seasoned performer who has entertained Cape Codders for more than twenty-five years to wide acclaim:"Ms. Wallace belts out hard-drivin’ rhythm and blues…throaty on the lower end and wailing on the high, breaking out just long enough to coo the sweet notes." –Glenda Bendure, The Cape Cod Times"Judy Wallace’s voice is ...

Chit-Tak!
$11.99 Someplace in the Berkshire Mountains the sound of rustic folk tunes and the heat of the campfire induced a synergy in the depths of Justin Hillman’s early childhood; The seed was planted for this young songwriter. While growing up in Western Massachusetts, always deeply drawn to music, he began to write prolifically at the young age of 11. Several years passed before he came into his own as an artist, but ...
